“Magical Dingle Stay” My group and I were so well looked after at Garvey's cottage. Joan is a wealth of information, a wonderful cook, and a very generous soul. The cottage has wonderful ocean views with a short walk to the cliffs, and is perfectly located for other scenic tours/pilgrimages in and around Dingle. Dingle is truly a magical place with phenomenal sights, walks, and people. I would highly recommend anyone to come and stay here if they wish to experience something of the old and true Ireland. I miss Dingle and look forward to another visit.

“Peace, tranquility, clean air and friendly people” We were welcomed by a lovely neighbour to the property who took us round the cottage and clearly explained everything and that, if we needed anything at all, she was just a short walk or phone call away. The welcome pack was a very nice and unexpected touch. The charming 300 year old cottage, which was very well-equipped with all the modern amenities, was clean and very homely, still containing personal items of the lady that had once lived for most of her life. The owner also paid a pleasant courtesy call to see that we had everything we needed. Just 5 minutes drive from Ardpatrick or 10 minutes from the larger Kildorrerey and situated approximately halfway between Limerick and Cork, this is an isolated location with little or no nightlife but rich in beauty, peace and tranquility. A perfect medicine for the stressed-out city dweller! I have only one issue - anyone over 5'4" will have to do some head-ducking when moving around the bedrooms but that comes with the charm and age of the cottage. All in all, a memorable experience which we are likely to repeat.

“Rustic Living” If you like Rustic, then this place is for you. Mag is a wonderful host and she made sure we felt at home the moment we arrived. The stone cottage is about 100 years old and is basic accommodation but still warm and cozy. We still had all the modern essentials such as dish washer, washing machine etc but without the time burners such as internet and cable TV. The open fire was great and the bed very comfortable. Our little hire car managed the bush track to the house and the view is breathtaking. A little hint... take most of your supplies with you as the major stores are a reasonably long drive away. Make sure you venture to Josie's for at least one meal. You won't believe how remote it is and how good the food and view are.

“Wonderful, Peaceful a home from home” We had a wonderful family holiday at this cottage. Everything one could think of was supplied. Our every need was met. It is the first time we experienced a house that thought of supplying so much even a food mixer and slow cooker. Our extended family want to go back every year. I am booking again for next year.

“Breathtaking” Four adults wanting to have a magical holiday couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We enjoyed the opportunity to cook our own meals, have all the conveniences of home and enjoy the beach and country surroundings. Both Linda and Eileen were very welcoming and offered us the opportunity to feel completely at home in this self contained cottage. The cottage was comfortable and very clean. The view was breathtaking and the village of Cloghane/Brandon was peaceful in its surroundings yet active in its daily routine. There are many lovely surrounding villages, but you need to have access to transportation in order to visit them easily. Brandon Mountain Cottage is definitely a place to relax, enjoy the surroundings and meet friendly local people. It is on our list to return again.

“The warmest welcome.” We crossed from England to Ireland, docking at 6pm. We had a 2 and a half hour drive ahead of us, but the directions were spot-on. Easy, traffic free roads. We arrived at the village at about 8.30pm, and the lady who owns The Dispensary was waiting outside to greet us. There are no shops in the tiny village of Inch, so she'd left us provisions for supper and breakfast, at no extra charge. Home made bread and jam, sausages, bacon, tea, juice. Too much to mention. The nearest shops, pubs etc are about 4 miles away in a busy village. And a more major town is a seaside town called Youghal, just 7 miles from our cottage. The Dispensary is the best equipped holiday place we've ever stayed in. Truely a home from home. Even foil, clingfilm, all your linen including towels and bedding. Outside there is a brand new shed which is a fully functioning utility room. Washing machine, ironing board, clothes airer. The owners are not intrusive, but you are welcome to knock on their door for any directions and advice. They really enjoy their letting project. This holiday is a perfect retreat for anyone wanting peace and tranquility in and idyllic setting. We went there as a base to sight-see around southern Ireland. We loved it, but some of the journeys were epic - for instance from Inch to Killarney was a 2 and a half hour drive, before you even start on the Ring of Kerry. But there were plenty of more local sights - Cork, Blarney Castle, Cobh and many beautiful seaside towns. Well worth a visit is The Mahon Falls with it's Magic and magnetic road - look at it on Youtube. This holiday let, The Dispensary at Inch, was perfect for us. More than perfect. I can't remember what price guide it was given, but I know that at the time I believed that it had been underrated.

“What a heavenly home!” This was such a beautiful home in a great setting. It was well-equipped with everything we needed whether for cooking, cleaning, relaxing, or sleeping. Having a washer and dryer was such a help as we were there for one week. The kitchen had everything one needed as well as the entire home. I cannot say enough about this home as it was so perfect!! The owner was so helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to eat as well as information about the area. We were a group of 5 women: 3 from the us and 2 from Denmark and it was such a relaxing place to start and end our days while there. It was so clean, comfortable, and felt right at home here. Wi-Fi was available too. Also loved the location as out in the country next to a babbling brook. Close enough to town and great to come home to such a beautiful setting. I know we all loved it here and I would recommend it highly to friends and family. And I hope to return one day.

“So much space, so much wood!” The title says it all. Good modern fittings, contemporary styling. Perfect for our group of 6 (including 2 young children). A great place to come back to in the evening. And we had good weather! (August, swimming in the sea...). While the cottage isn't close to amenities, it is well placed to explore the area - centrally placed for activities, beaches, walks. There's loads to do. My only gripe - it would be nice if the back yard was a garden instead. A lawn at least...

“Very relaxing stay at this wonderful retreat.” This place exceeded our expectations in every way. We really liked it! The caretakers of this location were very helpful and provided us with lots of information that made checking in very simple and straightforward. They also had a little book with all the info we'd need to find/use amenities in the house. The house was very spacious and we appreciated the many books/tourist pamphlets that were made available to us. The area is very quiet and relaxing and the view behind the house is spectacular. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, particularly large families looking for a place to stay while in Ireland. The house is close to many attractions and very accessible.

Earlson Farmhouse - Adare
Perfect! Quintessential Irish farmhouse.

My family just returned from a lovely week at the Earlson Farmhouse. This beautiful farmhouse has been in the Earlson family for 5 generations and shines of irish pride and charm. Pictures can't possibly do this home justice. Each room is filled with beautiful antique furnishings and photos. It is the quintessential Irish dream farmhouse. The three spacious bedrooms were perfect for our family. We have two daughters, ages 15 and 9, and everyone had their own space, plus the wifi worked well. This is huge requirement for any teenager. We enjoyed the modern kitchen which had all the things we needed to cook any meal. The home was meticulously clean and neat as a pin. From Earlson Farmhouse's Adare location we were able to easily do day trips to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, the Muckross House and Abby, Killareny National Park and lakes, the Blarney Stone and Cork, Bunratty Caste and Folk Park, the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, and Galway. Adare itself is a lovely picturesque Irish village with friendly pubs, delicious restaurants, and shops. As the saying goes, It really is the prettiest village in Ireland. We can't say enough kind things about our gracious hosts Dan and Anne. Each night Dan made certain we had a warm fire to return home to after a long day of touring and we are very grateful for the essential supplies Anne provided for us upon arrival. We just loved Sadie the dog and all of the cows. It was the perfect true Irish farm experience. We absolutely loved it! Stay here!see more
Lackaroe Cottage
Wonderful cottage and hosts!

The cottage was fantastic! It was very clean, and had all of the essentials for us to enjoy our family vacation. The cottage is located in a perfectly central location to all of Southern Ireland's activities. Jumping over to Galway, Ennis, Limerick, Doolin, etc... was very easy. Our favorite activities were the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle. It's also a great starting point to head down for a day to Dingle and Killarney! Overall, we cannot recommend the cottage enough and the hosts are incredibly accommodating and welcoming.see more

So good that we have booked for next year!

Great house in a beautiful location. Stepping out of the front door you have a view of the 12 mile beach to your left and dramatic high mountains on your right. This is before you have left the property. Very handy to shop and pub in the village. 20 min drive to Dingle over the dramatic Connor Pass. Can't wait for next year as we have booked again.see more
