“Peace, tranquility, clean air and friendly people” We were welcomed by a lovely neighbour to the property who took us round the cottage and clearly explained everything and that, if we needed anything at all, she was just a short walk or phone call away. The welcome pack was a very nice and unexpected touch. The charming 300 year old cottage, which was very well-equipped with all the modern amenities, was clean and very homely, still containing personal items of the lady that had once lived for most of her life. The owner also paid a pleasant courtesy call to see that we had everything we needed. Just 5 minutes drive from Ardpatrick or 10 minutes from the larger Kildorrerey and situated approximately halfway between Limerick and Cork, this is an isolated location with little or no nightlife but rich in beauty, peace and tranquility. A perfect medicine for the stressed-out city dweller! I have only one issue - anyone over 5'4" will have to do some head-ducking when moving around the bedrooms but that comes with the charm and age of the cottage. All in all, a memorable experience which we are likely to repeat.

“Adare Farm Cottege” The Cottage was wonderful. It looked exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable & was much needed to relax. The Cottage is centrally located. We enjoyed the town of Adare, very quaint. Bryan couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed Miller, the family dogs greeting every time we saw him.

“Home away from home” We had a lovely stay at the Fanningstown House. We had a party of 8 that was multi-generational. Everyone loved the home and the owners. The owners are lovely people who went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The home is beautiful and immaculate. It has everything you need to feel at home. It is located close enough to town but far away enough to feel as though you are away from it all. I would, and have, highly recommend this house to anyone.

I felt at home immediately. Tom is very welcoming and a great host. He left a new container of milk for us in the refrigerator, chocolates and a vase of beautiful spring daffodils. The whole cottage is well equipped and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The front and back yards are beautiful and peaceful. I hope to go back to Ireland again and I'd stay at Cooga Cottage.

“Fantastic, Tranquil Holiday Experience” Pat and Annette really have a stunning Lodge Resort. The lodge is placed near a lake, has stunning views, and the lodge it self has all the creature comforts of home and is very comfortable. The location is central to all the local tourist attractions, and Pat and Annette have developed a book recommending all the best places to visit while in the area. With boats, donkey rides for the kids, fishing and a quaint little pool hall in the centre of the lodge, Mount Cashel is far better than any hotel. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and certainly will be coming back to stay again, the main reason being that it is so peaceful, welcoming and homely.

What a wonderful experience!!

We stayed at the cottage with another couple. The owner, Brian, was welcoming and so helpful. We were greeted by their family dog, Miller, who became a constant companion. What a sweetie! The cottage was charming! We built a fire in the fireplace every night and grilled outside for a couple meals. We had a washing machine and dryer which got constant use. Truly everything you needed was there. And Adare is wonderfully situated for day trips around western Ireland. The city of Adare itself is quaint and a great walking town. Perfect! Quintessential Irish farmhouse.

My family just returned from a lovely week at the Earlson Farmhouse. This beautiful farmhouse has been in the Earlson family for 5 generations and shines of irish pride and charm. Pictures can't possibly do this home justice. Each room is filled with beautiful antique furnishings and photos. It is the quintessential Irish dream farmhouse. The three spacious bedrooms were perfect for our family. We have two daughters, ages 15 and 9, and everyone had their own space, plus the wifi worked well. This is huge requirement for any teenager. We enjoyed the modern kitchen which had all the things we needed to cook any meal. The home was meticulously clean and neat as a pin. From Earlson Farmhouse's Adare location we were able to easily do day trips to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney, the Muckross House and Abby, Killareny National Park and lakes, the Blarney Stone and Cork, Bunratty Caste and Folk Park, the Rock of Cashel, Cahir Castle, and Galway. Adare itself is a lovely picturesque Irish village with friendly pubs, delicious restaurants, and shops. As the saying goes, It really is the prettiest village in Ireland. We can't say enough kind things about our gracious hosts Dan and Anne. Each night Dan made certain we had a warm fire to return home to after a long day of touring and we are very grateful for the essential supplies Anne provided for us upon arrival.
