Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The cabin is located just across the street from Big Bear Lake with a great view of the water and boating activities. That's what we like.
There is a long front porch to just sit and relax. Inside the cabin (more like a home) are all the comforts any one would need for a week end or a week, Plenty of room with modern conveniences. We can walk to town in about 7 minutes.
This was our second stay here and we look forward to coming back soon. -

It was perfection! Just what I needed, rest and relaxation in a quiet beautiful place. Great view of the lake, nature (saw a bald eagle just across the street). Read for at least an hour a day in the spa right outside the master bedroom and gazing at the lake. Always felt safe with neighbors nearby yet private. Supplied with anything you might need even down to an emergency 'gift basket' with deodorant, toothbrush/paste, chapstick, etc. I will be back very soon. Thank you

Rancho CucamongaGreat Cabin and Location!
Left on 08/11/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My family and I stayed at the Four Seasons of Fun for six nights and we all enjoyed it. The view of the lake is pretty good. The cabin is across the street from the lake, but there is an empty lot, so you get a good view. You're also close enough to the village to walk. If you prefer to drive, then there is a visitors center and large parking lot on Bartlett. The cabin is roomy. There's a large living room with two couches. The master bedroom is large and the two other bedrooms are decent sized. The front deck is great with two rocking chairs and a two-seat glider so you can sit and watch the lake. The neighbors are very friendly. Several stopped to talk to me while I was sitting out on the deck. I suggest taking a boat cruise while you're here. There are three to choose from. You can get all sorts of brochures and information at the Visitors Center. Also, a couple of restaurants that I really enjoyed are: Captain's anchorage (be sure to make a reservation!); El Jacalito (in the village); Mountain Munchies (in Stater Bros. center -- huge sandwiches on homemade rolls); and Bear Belly Deli (again, huge sandwiches on homemade rolls).

My 5 girl friends and I recently stayed here back in July. It is a very cute cabin with everything you need from home. The kitchen was well stocked and all the beds were comfortable. The best part was the rocking chairs on front deck with beautiful views of the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the cabin and loved the location. The cabin was cozy and warm...a home away from home. It had alot of personal touches and was well maintained and clean. The beds were actually comfortable and the shared living space (great room & dining room) was open and inviting, it was perfect for a night of family games! Had a great time relaxing on the deck, lounging in the jacuzzi and watching fabulous 4th of July fireworks! Just across the street from the lake, and has a lake view, and waking distance to town. Have stayed in a few units on the lake and this was definately a favorite. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Westwood, CAAbsolutely The Best Cabin We Ever Stayed In!
Left on 07/08/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have been going to Big Bear several times a year for many years. 4 Seasons of Fun is hands-down the best cabin we've ever stayed in. No mis-matched towels or cheesy china & cooking utensils, no dirty carpets or crusty bath tub grout, this place is clean and beautifully cared for.
The cabin is roomy and the details are beautifully done. The mountain-style look and feel is everything we love in a mountain cabin. Only two hours of driving from la and we were in a perfect, relaxing retreat, sitting on teak rocking chairs on the front porch, with our feet up, sipping wine and watching the sun set over the lake.
It was perfect for our long summer weekend. Within walking distance we visited the marina, walked into town and one night we strolled over to our favorite Mexican restaurant for shrimp tacos and margaritas.
We love the boating and hiking in Big Bear. There always seems to be something interesting to do... or not!
Truthfully, we are so thankful that we found a lovely cabin to rent in the future. No more nasty surprises when we walk in the door. We love Big Bear. We love sharing it with our family and friends. And we'll be coming back to 4 Seasons of Fun soon!

Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This cabin was perfect for our Memorial Day weekend getaway! It is close to Big Bear Village but was still very quiet, had great views of the lake, and was waking distance to the marina. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. No indication of previous guests other than the adorable guestbook. I have stayed in many different rentals over the years, but never have they offered the hospitality that this cabin did. Games, movies, modern kitchen with all the necessities, brand new washer and dryer, hot tub, gas bbq grill, and very comfortable beds. Even though Big Bear has a lot to offer, my favorite activity was sitting on the front porch in one of the rocking chairs with a glass of wine and one of their comfy throw blankets. We will be back!

We came to Big Bear to ski and spend time with family and this was a great cabin for us. There was plenty of room for me, my husband, our children and grandchildren, inside and out. My grandsons eyed the goody basket right away and couldn't wait to dive in...what a nice surprise! We were pleasantly surprised with 1-1/2 feet of snow and spent lots of time in the big back yard playing in it. When we got too cold we spent good times in front of the fireplace warming up. We enjoyed sitting in the jacuzzi, with the awesome lake views and the snow falling around us. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Sharon for sharing your cabin with us!

This was our second trip to 4 Seasons of Fun, having had an amazing trip last year. We use this cabin as a reunion for five old friends. It has everything you need. The layout is good. You will enjoy the spa on the porch and the view of the lake is great. The cabin is in the ideal location. Quick walk to coffee shop and liquor store (always important). Little longer walk, but still very doable, into the Village. The cabin isn't posh but it isn't rundown either. It is very comfortable and feels like home. I hesitate to review, please I kind of want to keep it as a secret for us.

Cabins in Big Bear can be hit or miss. There's nothing like arriving, walking into the place you've rented and realizing instantly that you've maid a terrible mistake. There is nothing better however than arriving at a cabin that is so nice, well appointed and literally bursting with a very personal level of hospitality that I've never seen in a rental anywhere.
There was a small gift basket filled with 'freebie's' for us when we walked in. Including some food containers and a child's toothbrush and fluoride free toothpaste. All of the appliances were relatively new, including brand new, super quiet high end washer and dryer.
The cabin was clean and there were about 100 cataloged and labelled Dvd's with a bunch of family friendly ones too. Wifi as well. The spa is great and the porch is a great place to hang out. You can also walk to the village, the marina, bowling and more.
The kitchen was filled with everything any cook could every need as well.
There was even a beautiful seven or eight foot artificial Christmas tree and lighted garland for the hearth which gave it a cozy holiday feel at night. -

We spent hours reading on the porch, relaxing in the jacuzzi, or cuddled up watching dvds. Plus, it's a 5 minute walk to the village so within minutes you have access to restaurants, bars, movie theaters or the local bowling alley. We're already planning our next stay when the snow flies!

Left on 09/02/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We treasure the memories of the "cabin up North" from our youth. This comfortable house manages to keep the feel of a lake cabin while providing all the amenities of home---and more. The porch was a favorite spot to rock and enjoy the evening (before hopping in the jacuzzi). We even had a visit from a passing racoon.
Our grandsons (10 and 14) were never bored. They could walk across the road to the lake. The highlight of their vacation was a pontoon fishing trip that produced four beautiful trout, enough for the best meal of our stay. The downhill luge track was a big hit with them, too. We all enjoyed the remarkable wildlife rescue zoo which gave us an opportunity to see local wildlife up close and personal.
Big Bear is a delightful place in the summer. We appreciated how short a drive it takes to get away from it all in the la area. Not really "all"--- there's still big screen TV (in each bedroom, even), wireless access in the house and an amazingly well equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed our family vacation very much.

La Mesa, CAPerfect place to stay in Big Bear
Left on 10/07/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We just returned from 2 nights in this wonderful cabin & wished we could have stayed longer. We have been coming to Big Bear for many years now & have rented lots of different cabins/houses & this was one of our alltime favorite places to stay.
From the minute we walked in, it felt like home & was so clean & well taken care of & felt very welcoming. It felt like a home & not just a vacation rental that no one really cared about. The bathroom towels were shaped into animals & laid out on the bed--too cute!!
The location is perfect---so close to the Village & marina, but yet a very quiet street. The big porch with the glider & rocking chairs was wonderful & we spent a lot of time out there looking at the beautiful lake views. It was fun to see the horse & carriages come up the street too.
The jacuzzi was great & it was fun to sit out there & be able to enjoy the wonderful lake views. The water in the jacuzzi was nice & clean & fresh & not too full of chemicals.
The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you need to fix all your meals there (if you want) & there is a great bbq on the deck also. The livingroom was stocked with lots of games, magazines & dvd's and there is also wireless internet. Plus you get to look out at the lake from the wall of big windows in the livingroom & kitchen area-you can't beat that!
The management company was very friendly , helpful & great to deal with & the owner (Sharon) is such a wonderful & nice lady as well,
So, I would highly recommend this cabin as you will not be disappointed. It is really a perfect getaway & you will feel like you have all the comforts of home and more while you are there & you probably won't want to leave. This place has it all!!!
We can't wait to come back up & stay here again!!!

Left on 08/23/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our family of 5...including a 4 year old and twin 2 year old girls had a blast staying at Four Seasons of Fun in Big Bear this summer. Upon entering the cabin, we were greeted by a wonderful gift basket of toys and treats for the kids. It even included some toys and treats for our dog who also enjoyed the trip. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the cabin was stocked with cooking essentials, cleaning essentials, linens, etc. We really didn't need to bring a thing. We ate nearly every meal at the cabin and used the grill several times. The kids liked to rock in the rocking chairs on the front porch and liked to play in the backyard, as well. Every night we all wrapped up our day in the hot tub for some "swimming" as the kids liked to call it. We were especially grateful for the books, pamphlets and magazines about things to do in Big Bear. We looked at them everyday to plan our day. The cabin was within walking distance to nearly everything we wanted to do. The cabin was the perfect size for our family. My son wants to go back in the winter to go sledding in the backyard. We really had a great time and can't wait to return. The owners were especially helpful in planning our trip. We received an email on our arrival day that included the weather for the week as well as some "can't miss" things to do while we were there. The whole experience was wonderful.

We spent 5 days in this cabin with family members ranging in age from 12 to 75. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed walking into the village and down to the marina. We rarely used our car - mainly for groceries and to go to the other side of the lake to hike. Golfing, fishing, and mini-golf were all close by. The game selection was terrific and we spent our evenings eating in and playing games. The cabin is super clean, roomy, comfortable, and does have wonderful views!

The only time we really used the car was for our hikes, mountain bike riding and of course goining to the market. No need to eat out as the kitchen provided all the comforts of home and the BBQ was great as well. However dont forget the Big Bear has several great places to eat as well. We will be back ! My kids thought this was the greatest place on earth and cannot wait to return! All the fun stuff was very close to the cabin. After a great day of skiing and snowboarding we cooked ourselves a nice meal in the clean, spacious kitchen then afterward, sat in the luxury of the Jacuzzi while enjoying the views of the lake and mountains. Then we had to roast marshmallows over the fire in the fireplace and we all and played games in the cabin and watched the DVD movies. The beds were also very comfortable especially with their electric blankets. We are already planning our return!

Our favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine all the while mesmerized by the the view of the lake.
The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood. It is well appointed, comfortable and very homey. There is a fully equipped kitchen for those who like to cook and nearby restaurants for those who don't.
The area offers a variety of activities. We are hikers and were delighted at the variety of the trails available.
We will definately return.

I've stayed at this cabin several times. I love the location--it has a fantastic lake view, and is minutes (by walking) to the village, yet the street is very quiet, and it's wonderful to see the horse-driven carriages go by.
It's remarkable that an area of such beauty is so close to the congestion of OC and LA. I love to take photos there--the sky is incredibly blue! The smells are wonderful as well.
The cabin itself is very well laid out, decorated beautifully, and very convenient. The kitchen is great--much nicer than the one I have in my own home. This is a fantastic place to stay, and I look forward to getting back up there soon. -

I have stayed at various rentals in Big Bear and this was my favorite. The
cabin's proximity to the lake and main drag meant I was within walking
distance to everything I enjoyed.
The cabin was clean, well maintained and felt more like MY vacation home
versus renting a cabin. It felt great to have "downy fresh" linens after taking a
shower. Kitchen layout worked well for dinner with friends. There is nothing
like enjoying a hot cup of coffee in the early morning as you look through the
big picture window at the lake.
The collection of movies, games and reading material were current. (I rented a
cabin in Big Bear in 2005 that still had only VHS!) Having access to wireless
internet was very convenient.

Our family stayed in Big Bear for a week of family fun. We enjoyed fishing on the lake, boating, canoing and the lake views so much we didn't leave the cabin to go into the village. With all of our great food we brought with us and the ability to BBQ and use a great kitchen, we enjoyed the cabin life.
