“although our first, THE BEST cabin experience ever!!!” We went for the Labor Day weekend. My boyfriend, sister, 1 year old niece, and a friend couple. First of all we fell in love with the place as soon as we got there. Honestly, we all felt it looked way nicer than the photos we saw! Rich was great as well. When i was searching around to try to book cabins throughout Big Bear Lake, i honesty emailed almost 15 cabins to find out if we can stay for just 1 night, since our schedules only matched to stay Sunday night and leave and get back to LA on Monday. (1 cabin i booked before this one, the site had said it was ok for the 1 night stay and took out my money, but actually received a msg from the owner stating that she does not allow 1 night stays for the holidays. Out of the 15 cabins, only 2 cabins were ok with the 1 night stay.) He was very nice about it and took us in. Not to add, he is super fast on getting back with you. The amenities were all there, although we didn't use any since we brought them thinking it wouldn't be there, the rooms and bathroom, everything was super clean as well! There were an abundant amount of towels for all of us. We were very excited about the hot tub and bbq area as well! It was a very kid-friendly environment as well, as long as you keep an eye on them when going outside where the stairs were. The surrounding neighbors were quiet too, although I guess the house next door was starting construction and started their duties early in the morning. (we didn't mind it too much though.) The cleaning list is very long, so i would strongly suggest to use the option of paying $60 to cover that, which we did so we can relax longer :) Overall, we had the best experience with the beautiful stars at night and great cabin experience!! Thank you Rich!! We will definitely be coming back :)

“Adorable and convenient!” Our family (two adults, 9 year old, and dog) stayed at the Quonset Lodge on a whim in late July and found it charming, clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything in Big Bear. The fenced in yard was great for our dog, and the kitchen was really well-stocked. The outdoor area is very cute and well-maintained. Overall we loved the Quonset Lodge and hope to return!

“Amazing!!” Great place! The board games had us entertained all night! And the Disney movie selections were amazing for movie night. The house was very spacious. And the owner was quick to reply with any questions regarding our stay. Will want to go back maybe in the spring next time.

“That is Very clean and cozy place, we in love with this cabin!!” Our family love the cabin from the minute we walk into it, we were immediately submerged into the warmth and calmness of the place. The spacious floor plan, clean and inviting living room equipped with flat screen TV/DVD unit, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom all adds up into a wonderful experienced that we had at the cabin. Kristina was very responsive and helpful throughout our needs. The backyard was a bonus specially when you have toddlers who wants to run around in the snow and feel safe about it. As a parent, it feels good knowing that there is a hospital nearby (about 5 minutes away). Grocery store and restaurants are just minutes away from the cabin. I highly recommend the place and I would definitely go back again in a heartbeat.

“big house in a quiet neighborhood.” This house is a healthy sized house for a group of 14 there is a bunk room that sleeps 7 and inversely there is one room with a single kingsize bed. It worked great for our little friends & family get together. The neighborhood is generally nice and quiet. I did have to impress on some members of my group to bring their noise inside. The negative about this cabin is the cleanup policy. It's kinda odd driving from Big Bear City to the west side of Big Bear Lake with bags of garbage in my trunk.

“Cute cabin” Very cute cabin, clean, well stocked and all around adorable. The only downfall I would say is the staircase to the upper floor which was dangerously narrow and had 'short' steps, good for kids to go up and down, but not the older folks. It got a little hot upstairs as well, but other than that very cute

“Cheers to 3 Years!” When we arrived to the house it was very clean, it had brand a new sponge and paper towels ready for us. There were detailed instructions and all the basics we needed for the weekend. It was the perfect get away for me and my boyfriend and our two fluffy puppies. It was close enough to everything so it wasn't much of a drive to get things from the grocery store, but still far enough to have peace and quiet. I would definitely come back to stay at this humble little abode. There are plenty of places to go hiking as well as fun places to go eat. I recommend the Cowboy Steakhouse! It's not far from the house and it has the "Worlds Tiniest Sunday"! How can you say no to that!

“excellent house for 2 families” second time that i have rented this cabin. very nice but had some issues this time. broken glass on patio by the jacuzzi, jacuzzi water level tolow,garage door not working properly,cheerful guy came out and fixed problems. cleanliness just ok. for this price should be amazing

“Very responsive staff.” The cabin was great. We had a good time and the staff was so helpful. At first our tv didn't work and they came and fixed it while we were at dinner. This place was a little far out from the lake but we had a great time.

“Glad we chose this one!!!” We were a little afraid of booking this property based on the last review we saw but it was the ideal location to my sisters personal home in Big Bear so we went for it. We are so glad we did!!! We found the property to be very clean and comfortable and we were delighted to find that there were no gold framed pictures or outdated anything! Just as the pictures described, there was a nice flat screen TV in the living room and the floor plan is open. We thought the butterfly decor in one of the rooms was an interesting choice but when we saw the butterflies that came to visit us on the front deck, it made sense! Bottom line, great place, very accommodating staff. We would suggest to the owners a more cohesive decor flow, but that's it! We will be back.

“Family Time!!!” This is our second time returning back to Nine "9" Pines Lodge and were happy. We are glad to see the recommendations were taking serious and in action. We love staying there because its comfortable. The only minor concern we had was the dining table chairs, there were a few lose that we used the fold up chairs. Other than that the stay was awesome and thank you for the improvements such as the cement parking area and 2nd floor bathroom. Thank you! and will be back next year
