The Corner Cottage Luxury with private Vineyard in downtown Napa!

Napa house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“A true home away from home” My husband and I shared the Corner Cottage with another couple while in Napa for a long weekend. I was impressed with the special touches that the owner Susan provided. A warm welcome, a bottle of wine and snacks, chocolates on the night stand and wonderful lotions and potions in the bathroom. The cottage is wonderfully decorated and appointed. It's centrally located and within walking distance of downtown. A stay at the Corner Cottage is much more personal than a hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something special while in Napa.

Worldmark Big Bear Lake Christmas

Big Bear Lake condo

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Family Friendly, Convenient Location, Great Amenities!” We really enjoyed staying at Worldmark Big Bear over New Year's this year. The amenities were great - several hot tubs throughout the complex; a game room with pool tables, ping pong, and arcades; and basketball and tennis courts. The condo was nicely set up with 2 bedrooms - perfect for a family of 4! There was a pull down bed in the living room, so 6 could easily have stayed without crowding. The location was very convenient and within easy walking distance to grocery stores. Dan was very easy to work with and quite personable - I enjoyed chatting with him on the phone each time we talked! Highly recommend this rental for a couple, family, or group of friends!

“A wonderful place to build memories” My wife and I recently stayed at the Crown Point beach house with our sons and their families. Spending this special time with our boys and the grand kids was enhanced by this beach house, which came completely equipped with more than we expected. Yvonne and Eric went above and beyond with their generousity. Would I recommend this beach house? Absolutely.

"Colusa Pines" Vacation Cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA

Big Bear Lake log cabin

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 6

“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

THE RANCH ESTATE BY THE SEA 7 Bedrooms 7000 SQ FT Sleeps 24

Rancho Santa Fe house

7 bedrooms / 4 bathrooms / sleeps 24

“Amazing Horse Property 10 Min from Beach” I traveled to the Ranch by The Sea with my family. We had a large group with age range from age 5 to 75 years of age. This is the perfect destination for any age. Bob the owner was a terrific host. He showed us everything we needed to know about how to use everything on the property. He also gave us suggestions of restaurants, bars, and best places to go to the beach which was very helpful since we were not familiar with the area. Anything we needed we just had to text or call him and he was available. There is plenty to do on the property no matter what age you are. There are many private rooms with tvs if you are just looking to relax and have some quite time. There are also many common areas to have fun with others to play pool, arcade games, ping pong etc and not disturb anyone else. There is a large patio with a fantastic view overlooking the pool and San Diego. Every evening around sunset you would see hot air balloons in the sky that would take off around Del Mar Race Track. There are also great sunsets to the west that fill the sky with vibrant orange and pink colors that everyone loved! Both the kids and adults loved the pool and hot tub. There is a shallow end and a diving board so a little bit for everyone. There is plenty of seating by the pool to watch the kids or just lounge and kick back and sun tan. If you are a horse lover this property is a must. There are horses on property with a large riding arena. The owner gave both kids and adults very fun and informative riding lessons. He is very knowledgeable about horses and riding. He is fun but informative and safe all at the same time. So whether you are an experienced rider or first timer everyone can have a great time. The house is very large with many different bedrooms. It is great because you can have a large group but everyone can have piece and quite and their own space which we all thought was great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the San Diego area. We definitely didn't want to leave and will be coming back soon to do it again.

Dramatic, ocean view home, close to San Francisco!

Muir Beach house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“I will always miss waking up to that view” This house is amazing. Intimately connected with nature and the ocean, and 15 minutes from Mill Valley and the freeway. The view is southeast, Muir Beach, the wild coast with waves smashing against huge rocks, the sunrise, and, in the distance, San Francisco. Even though you are high on a bluff, you go to sleep to the sound of the surf and the foghorn. The house is perfect, just built in 2010, chef's kitchen with all amenities, whirlpool tub, two bedrooms down, and two daybeds in the living room. Lots of floor to ceiling glass, and a spectacular view to fill them. The house is very quiet, almost at the end of a tiny road, completely private. This is the place to get away from it all, especially if you're with someone you want to get to know intimately :) There is wi-fi and satellite television, but if there were ever a place not to use them, this is it.

About California

The Golden State is a fitting nickname for California, a sunny state that stretches along the rugged shore of the Pacific Ocean. If you are looking for glamour and fun in the sun, Southern California should be at the top of your itinerary. A land of sandy beaches, surfers, and Hollywood stars, Southern California has a temperate climate year-round, with especially warm and sunny summers. To soak up the laid-back atmosphere, plan a vacation on the shores of Long Beach, Newport Beach, or Huntington Beach near Los Angeles. Head further south for an oceanside retreat in Encinitas, Carlsbad, or La Jolla in north San Diego County, where the food and culture is wonderfully influenced by Baja California, Mexico.

Heading north from Los Angeles, the coastal city of Santa Barbara is another favored holiday destination, where green coastal mountains rise over a sparkling sea. Popular with Los Angeles locals, this beautiful town is home to a large university, great shopping, and wonderful restaurants and nightlife. Along the central coast, the college town of San Luis Obispo and Cambria are more off-the-beaten-track places to soak up the surf. When visiting the central coast, don't miss Hearst Castle, the opulent mansion of famed newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst.

Northern California has milder weather and a charming atmosphere. Known for its hilly streets, beautiful Victorian architecture, and incredible gourmet and local food scene, San Francisco is a romantic place to spend a few days. When in San Francisco, take a ferry to Alcatraz, a former island prison that is now a state park with gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

When planning your trip to California, keep these must-see spots in mind:

  • Napa Valley: The most renowned wine-growing region in the United States, the Napa Valley boasts a gorgeous countryside, world-class restaurants, and quaint towns.
  • Big Sur: Big Sur is the most dramatic stretch of coast in California, where towering redwood forests overlook the dazzling Pacific Ocean.
  • Santa Monica: The quintessential California beach town, Santa Monica is a laid-back, stylish, and sunny town on the coast of Los Angeles.
  • Palm Springs: The perfect place for a desert sojourn, warm nights, clear air, and craggy mountain scenery define the Palm Springs experience.
  • Yosemite National Park: America's most famous national park is a spectacular destination for hiking, camping, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
  • Disneyland: Located just south of Los Angeles, the Magic Kingdom is one of the world's most famous theme parks.

In Southern California, you can live like the stars in an elegant villa overlooking the ocean. For trips to the Sierra Nevada, consider renting a cozy cabin near Lake Tahoe or Yosemite. In San Francisco, the urban environment is perfect for a luxury condo in one of the city's vibrant neighborhoods.

Great Location, good value.

The whole process of booking went really smooth. Great communication. He let us check in a little bit early which it was perfect. Clean place. Just 2 cons of the place: toilet paper was way and I meant way too cheap. Kitchen needed more utensils, not a big deal but definitely a plus. … see more

Upgraded & Spacious Apt in heart of LA W/Smart TV (Permit # HSR19-001331)
Convenient, very good location in a comfortable apartment.

With my family (married couple and 3 young people over 20) we stayed 8 nights in this apartment; It is in a safe area and very well located (near La Brea). It does not include parking, however, you can leave the vehicle on the street from 6pm to 8am at no cost, for those of us who travel to get to know Los Angeles, these are excellent hours, since you have to leave before 8am to arrive early to most of the attractions. There are places to eat nearby and a gas station with a 24-hour convenience store. The host was in permanent contact through WhatsApp and responded with agility to all our concerns, for example, the heating was damaged and in less than 24 hours the technicians arrived to repair it. Full well-equipped kitchen in the same environment with the dining room and living room (TV), with private environments (2 bedrooms, large closets, and two bathrooms). Access is independent. He has two other apartments, I did not ask, but I think they could be rented together for larger groups or people who do not want to share bedrooms. We would definitely stay at this place again every time we go to Los Angeles.see more

Peaceful relaxation in house with lots of restaurants and the Bay close by!
Sunny spot with great walkability

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks while working remotely. We really enjoyed the sunny backyard and wonderful neighborhood. The street itself is really quiet and residential, with short walks to great food, parks, breweries and cafes. It’s a great spot to visit, with easy access to San Francisco. … see more
