It was a great experience for the kids. Cozy and comfortable. We spent the Christmas holidays. Short 7 minutes drive to groceries, restaurants or sky resorts. Kids can sledge and snow play within the premises of the cabin.
What a wonderful cabin!!!

We had a great time in this cabin. It was more than expected. Clean, updated, beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect location. Stairs up to loft a little steep coming down. But not a problem if you go slow. Had everything we needed. Our kids wanted to move there. We will definitely rent this one again. One awesome find!
Great location, very comfortable

I agree with other postings that the towels suck. My husband didn't mind but I hated them. Absolutely the only complaint I have. The cabin was well stocked. They even included paper towels! And a BBQ lighter! And salt and pepper shakers and dishwasher detergent! The actual cabin was beautiful. I believe it's only listed as a two bedroom with a loft, and while this is technically correct it is really three bedroom. My husband I took my two step-children for a few days and the kids were wow'd and so was I. It was quiet, close to everything and a wonderful stay, I couldn't have asked for more. My father-in-law got a one bedroom on the other side of the lake and while he had an amazing view of the lake the cabin was very small, even for just him and his wife. He said our place was a palace compared to his. I also loved that the master is on the first floor and the other bedroom & loft is on the second floor giving my husband and I plenty of privacy.
Cool Place to Stay

Check in was very easy and fast. The house was great, it was very private, quiet and clean. It was very cold outside, but the house stayed nice and warm, and we never ran out of hot water. We were there for the first snow of the season and the kids went sledding right outside the house. It was a great location. The home is totally stocked, all you need to bring is your clothes and food, everything else is there. We had a great time, hope to go back soon.

We stayed 3 days in this cozy cottage in the woods of Big Bear Lake. Perfect place for relaxing. All comfort was in the house. It was clean and very very cozy. It was a little expensive but you get a spacious house for your money. We like to recommend this house to other travelers who will stay at Big Bear lake.
Will come again :)

the cabin is in excellent condition, it's spacy, comfortable, and cozy.
it was fairly clean, with the exception of few spiderwebs in places that you can hardly reach.
recommendation: a full-length mirror in the living room would be nice for the ladies.
thanks! we will definitely rent this cabin again in the future!
best trip taken yet

Loved this cabin! The family room is very large with a nice Hd-tv with surround sound. I appreciate the little details, nice hand soup, box of tissues. The location is nice but there are a lot of stairs to get to the cabin. Might not work well with little children or anyone who has trouble with stairs. Towels are very bad, thin and hard on your skin. My only complaint.
Cool, modern cabin

My family and I enjoyed the cabin, which is really a three bedroom cabin. That three bedroom aspect worked well. Only downer was the towels were few and very, very cheap. Like bad motel towels. Also, they need to install a tankless water heater, so the hot water doesn't run out so quick.

We loved the cabin and had a great family trip. The cabin is close to Bear Mountain and avoids the day trippers traffic. The only complaint we had was the barbecue didn't work. Read more
We wanted to inform all past and future guests of Teewinot that the owners of the property have replaced the barbecue at the home.
Lovely cabin, great amenities, but uncomfortable beds!

This cabin was lovely! It had everything we needed. It was beautiful. Quiet. Secluded. We would love to come back...except the beds are terrible! The master bedroom downstairs was like a king sized rock. We literally couldn't get over how hard the bed was! The other two upstairs have obviously seen their time come and go. If the beds were replaced we would stay over and over! Honestly, it was a beautiful clean cabin. I just wish we had slept well, too! Read more
11/22/11 Due to issues noted in prior reviews about the beds at Teewinot; we are happy to inform past and future guests that the owners of the property have recently replaced the mattresses in the home with brand new Sealy Posturpedics. We hope to see you soon!

We absolutely loved this place! It's bright, welcoming, comfortable and clean as can be. Everything we needed was on hand. The deck was lovely and relaxing and we even played the wii. The cabin is surrounded by trees and it's just a short walk to a great view of the slopes. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and we will be booking it again in the future!
Loved this place!
