Description from the owner

Cedar Log Cabin in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

This Cedar Log Cabin is nestled in the Sprucewold community near Spruce Point Inn and Spa.

It is a very short walking distance to the Ocean/State Beach, many Water Front Restaurants, Kayaking, Sailing and Downtown Shops from this Log Cabin.

The cabin went through new renovations from 2011~ 2012.

On the front porch, you can sit on Adirondack chairs surrounded by spruce trees, listening to whistling ocean, ships and seagulls... it's so quiet and relaxing to spend time there.

      Enjoyed my stay

Left on 01/18/2013 for a stay in August 2012

I visited with my girlfriend and stayed about a week. We purchased 5 wholesale lobsters for $25 on the way in, and ate lobster rolls all week! Really clean house, loved the outdoor patio for drinking my morning coffee.

Plenty of space for two, so definitely bringing people next year. Overall I had a great time. The Nespresso machine was a nice perk as well!

I would definitely stay again, thanks for the good times.

      A Great Getaway!

Left on 06/06/2012 for a stay in August 2011

We have stayed in this cottage on numerous occasions over the past couple summers and can't wait to come back again! The owners are very nice and have done an excellent job of updating and maintaining the property over the years without losing any of the charm of a traditional log cabin! The bedrooms are all very comfortable, making you feel right at home. The bathroom is also large, bright, and fully updated. The open concept living/kitchen space is great for the entire family and furnished with comfortable couches and chairs - perfect for nights in watching a movie or playing a board game!

One of the top reasons we love this cabin, however, is its location. Nestled into the evergreen forest hills overlooking Boothbay, you have plenty of privacy and serenity but with the convenience of being only minutes from town. It is just a short walk from downtown Boothbay (perhaps ten or fifteen minutes tops). If you have never been to Boothbay there is only one word to describe it - quaint! It is one of my favorite places to visit; full of great little restaurants, charming shops, and friendly people. The cottage is also just a short drive from many of the area's best hiking trails and outdoor activities as well as a number of other small towns that make for fun day trips.

I really can't recommend this cabin enough! We've told a number of our friends about it and are already planning another trip for later this summer. It's perfect for families with kids of all ages or couples just looking for a quiet getaway!

Nothing beats walking down to the lobster dock and getting steamers, lobsters and cold beer and watch the world go by! Everyone should do it once in their life...

Fantastic Log Cabin that had unique style and a great location

Left on 05/15/2012 for a stay in June 2011

I fortunately decided to spend a week here in the summer with my family, and I can't wait to go back again. The cabin is clean, cute, and has lots of open space. Decor is fantastic, reminding you that you are in the true Maine outdoors. It is located in the woods, and is a 2 minute walk to the beach. Great for families, and really enjoyed the fire pit with the screened in porch!
