Lito Lodge - Oceanfront near Acadia

Lamoine house

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 7

“Perfect get-away home.” You can't beat a quiet morning cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the bay and watching the lobstermen hauling in their traps. The beautiful starry night skies are also an amazing sight. This spacious lodge had more amenities than we dreamed of. Peaceful and secluded with a gorgeous view but close to many antique shops, Acadia N.P., Bar Harbor, places to buy lobsters, and other attractions. Something for everyone! We often saw Bald Eagles on our way down the long driveway. On the morning that we had to leave, I stood on the deck gazing across the water, and was joined 1 by 1 by each member of our family, each of us having the same thought- we did not want to leave! We would highly recommend this rental and hope to return some day!

ACADIA National Park. Walk to Ocean, Restaurants! Private Deck Mountain VIEW

Winter Harbor house

3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“Comfy and Clean” Our family of five just returned from staying five nights in Winter Harbor. The stay was wonderful and the house was really great. We all felt so at home. The house was spotlessly clean. The neighborhood was very friendly. The owner provided so much helpful information on area sights and restaurants. There was everything we could possible need in the house for cooking. Three bedrooms upstairs provided nice privacy for early risers to start their day without bothering the others. Nice little deck for quiet reading in the sun. Short bike ride to Grindstone Neck. Could have easily biked to Schoodic Point but ended up driving. Just loved it. Hope we can go back again!!!

GREAT Home, Rates, LOCATION, Walk to WATER, BAR HARBOR, ACADIA

Bar Harbor house

2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

“Great Home” We stayed in Diane's house last week and could not have been more pleased. The location was excellent for exploring acadia and Mt Desert Island. The home is bright, immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and above all, comfortable. We were two couples and we had plenty of space. The kitchen is well equipped and Diane has done a superb job of addressing all possible needs, including giving directions for a near by walk to the bay and letting us know that her neighbor sells fresh eggs (delicious!). Don't hesitate to rent this house. We hope to return some day.

Cliffside at Sandcliff by the Sea

Bar Harbor house

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“What gem we found!” My wife and I took our two adult daughters and their husband and boyfriend to Bar Harbor ME. Cliff side at Sandcliff by the Sea was the perfect place! The house is beautiful and spacious. We used the gas grill several times and enjoyed the gas fireplace on the deck tremendously. The location is excellent...close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. We used the bus systems to explore the park. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend hiked over thirty miles of Acadia. The owner was fantastic to work with. We had a slight problem the first night but Bonnie took care of it immediately. I highly recommend this home. We gathered wild blueberries just behind the home and used them in our breakfast. Our favorite places to eat....popovers at Jordan's Pond, lobster rolls at the Side Street Cafe, BBQ at Mainely Meats with Atlantic Brewery tour, lobster dinner at Gaylin's. Beer at the Beerworks and karaoke. And of course warm blueberry pie ala mode and blueberry twist soft serve at C J's. The light house boat tour is well worth the time and money. We highly recommend this as your vacation destination

Long Pond Waterfront with Dock and Views of Acadia

Mount Desert house

3 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 5

“Wonderful, quiet lakefront house” My wife, my daughter and I stayed here for a week in July 2013. The house, lakefront location and various amenities were as described in the Flipkey listing, no surprises. The lake is beautiful with clear water and great for swimming. We hiked the trails on the mountains on both sides of Long Pond and also trails connecting to Echo Lake. There are many fewer people using the acadia National Park trails in this part of Mount Desert Island, which is a definite plus in July. We also used the kayaks and canoe, which are provided with the house, on Long Pond. The house was very clean and well maintained and communication with the owner was excellent. We highly recommend this rental and would like to return next year if possible.

The resort also has the most lighthouses than any other region in Maine at a grand total of 24!

Throughout the year, the area’s complexion changes significantly. Expect snow in the winter, dashes of brown and golden leaves falling from the trees in fall, blossom in the summer and warm sunshine during the summer.

Utterly Lovely

This house is so well cared for. It is comfortable, clean and welcoming. The decks are spacious, also with comfortable furniture, and perfect for morning yoga! The view, well, the view is spectacular. We and our dogs spent much time on the deck just gazing, reading, more gazing, more reading. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.see more

What a wonderful hidden gem

8 of us stayed at this beautiful house comfortably for a week. It’s spacious and nicely decorated just like the pictures. We enjoyed barbecuing and start gazing in the backyard. Location is perfect, close to bar harbor and Acadia park. Greg is such a great host. He gave lots of information about the area. And when we left something in the house, he was so helpful looking for it and finally found it after 2 months. It was such a wonder getaway during this difficult time. We definitely will stay there again next time we are in the area.see more
