OASIS VILLA ON THE ARROWHEAD LAKES

Glendale house

5 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 10

“Beautiful home, great location, heated pool” This home has it all. It is situated at the end of a quiet culdesac on Glendale's arrowhead Lakes. This beautiful home is furnished with style and quality in mind. The home is very spacious and has plenty of room for a large croud. The family room and eat in kitchen is the heart of the home. Large patio doors off the family room allows for indoor and outdoor living. A covered patio gave us shelter from the sun, while others enjoyed the pool, the sun, and the enormous surrounding deck. The heated diving pool was defiately a hit for everyone. Whether you relax around the pool or enjoy the shade from the covered deck, this place has it all. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens luxerious. The air conditioning provided comfortable tempuratures durig day and night. Just down the road is a grocery store and plenty of dining. A short drive will take you to all the shopping you'll want. Overall... a five star home and location. We will definately be returning to this property again. I would highly recommend this vacation property to everyone.

Mamie's on Sonoita Creek

Patagonia house

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Desert Base Camp” We really enjoyed our stay here. The accommodations are certainly not fancy, but they met our needs quite well. The locations is excellent--quiet, dead end street, great neighbors, and right on wildlife rich Sonoita Creek. It would be best for those who don't need a lot of support services and are accustomed to doing things themselves. It provided us with a fine base to engage in a lot of outdoor activities in the surrounding desert. We have already made arrangements to return.

“El Tour de Tucson” My wife and I stayed at this property for two weeks prior to Thanksgiving. The Greens is in my opinion a great location for everything. Ventana Canyon makes for a beautiful sunset as it is right outside your door. It was very quiet and relaxing. The parking was very convient. We are looking foward to coming back next year!

Natural Beauty - 1 Bedroom Wyndham Flagstaff Condo - F1

Flagstaff apartment

1 bedroom / 1 bathroom / sleeps 4

“Exceeded our expectations” We were extremely happy with this rental, but to be clear, this review is for the 2-bedroom unit as the owner had no 1-bedroom units available once we submitted our booking. The front street-view of the unit looks deceptively small until you step inside to discover that there are floors both below and above the entrance level (made possible by the units being on a hillside). The home felt brand new and immaculately clean. Spacious living room, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms. The master bedroom has a huge and luxurious bathroom, along with a large walk-in closet. Both the main floor and master bedroom have spacious balconies. The tall trees blocked any view of the mountains but this was not an issue for us. Very peaceful and tranquil setting. We heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped with clean and shiny utensils and glassware, etc. Wyndham maintain the properties really well. The one negative is that the check-in desk forces you to visit the neighboring "concierge" desk to obtain a parking permit, when there was no good reason that they couldn't have handed out the parking pass along with the keys and the rest of the check-in paperwork. "Concierge" is code language for "time share agents" who will not reveal their true purpose until engaging you in a super-friendly welcome and offering advice on where to go and what to see. So why are time-share salespeople the custodians of the parking passes? - for one reason only - so you have no option but to interact with them!! I refused to initial and sign their "qualification form" in half-a-dozen places, at which point they made me feel like I was being ungrateful for all the help they'd given me. Owners who are privately renting their places to cash-paying vacationers should demand that Wyndham stops putting their guests through this ordeal upon checking in. There's nothing worse after an exhausting day of travel than to have to deal with pushy timeshare salespeople who are trained to overcome your every objection and ultimately force you to be very stubborn, just to get away from them. My advice is that one of the two spouses should stay behind in the car during the check-in process, so they don't have both of you captive at their desk. To be fair, after this initial encounter they never called or bothered us again during our stay though. As long as you arrive mentally-prepared to endure this encounter, once out of the way, everything else about this resort should surpass your expectations.

About Arizona

Arizona is a mash-up of Native American, Mexican and American cultures. With college towns sprinkled between major metropolises like Tucson and Phoenix, this state possesses a most unique identity. Much of the state is made up of wild, rugged, untamed terrain that takes on a majestic and spiritual quality in the sprawling Sonoran Desert. There is plenty in Arizona to attract both nature lovers and those who prefer the comforts and amenities of civilization, from campgrounds in Arizona to the bright lights of Phoenix.

Some of Arizona's most famous attractions include:

  • The Grand Canyon: Arizona's signature attraction is the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, which attracts millions of visitors every year and is one of America's most iconic and incredible nature sites. It is the most popular of the many Arizona National Parks in the state.
  • Tonto Natural Bridge: The world's largest natural travertine bridge, Tonto Natural Bridge is located about 10 miles north of the city of Payson and offers one of the most unique viewing experiences in the continental United States.
  • Phoenix: A cosmopolitan oasis in the midst of Arizona's deserts, Phoenix buzzes with cultural events, museums, theaters, professional sports and brims with southwestern pride. If you're bringing the family on your trip, remember that many of the amusement parks in Arizona are located in the greater Phoenix area.
  • Monument Valley: Located in the Navajo Nation near the Arizona-Utah border, Monument Valley is home to the state's starkest and most unique desert landscapes.
  • World-class golf courses: Some of the country's best-reviewed and most scenic golf courses are located in Arizona, and with year-round warm weather, anytime is the perfect time to get your game on. Golf Arizona packages are widely available through online and traditional travel agencies.

Arizona's hot, dry climate makes it a perfect place to visit any time of year. Getting a cabin or a condo vacation rental for your stay in Arizona is a smart alternative to renting a hotel room. These accommodations offer more space and privacy, and they are widely available whether you want to rough it in the wilderness or base your visit in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson or any of the state's other major cities.

If you want to explore the surrounding area, remember that Arizona borders Mexico to the south. You can also head into neighboring California, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico or Colorado by using Arizona's easily accessible Interstate highway system.

Great house and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well stocked home w a great location in Queens Creek. Our family of 4 adults and 3 kids slept comfortably and took advantage of the fantastic heated pool. Pool temp was consistently around 90 degrees w the solar cover and heater provided. Lots of paths for walking and running in the area. Within a mile of Drizzle donuts and Dutch Brothers coffee and can walk to restaurants and a brewery! What more does a vacationer need? We highly recommend this house.see more
Eclectic West Sedona Studio w/ Red Rock Views
Beautiful home.

Was much bigger than I thought it was going to be for just me and my dog. But loved every part of it. From the big back yard to the beautiful pool with and the nice garden surrounding it that also a nice lemon tree and a grapefruit tree that was loaded with ripe grapefruits. They are selling it unfortunately so I'm probably one of the last to enjoy it before the new owners move in.see more

Pandemic in the Red Rocks

Frances’ house was the perfect place to isolate during early weeks of Covid crisis - a very comfortable and well appointed home. I read eight books selected from the library shelves which spanned an entire wall top to bottom. The panoramic views from the rooftop deck are breathtaking. Many hiking trails are accessible straight from the house. We made easy visits to Oak Creek and Walnut Canyons, Meteor Crater, Tuzigoot and Montezuma Castle ruins. In addition to touring the immediate Sedona area, we also traveled to historic towns of Jerome and Prescott. Of Course, I had to stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona, to let that girl in a flatbed Ford slow down to take a look at me!see more
