“Great view and accommodations” Spent 11 days here in March had a very nice time. Location if very nice and almost everything is available within a relative short drive. I had spent most of my visits in northern Tucson and found this location to be very convenient also. Unit was as show and very clean and owner was very accommodating.

Flair of the southwest -2 bedr 2 bath condo in the Heart of Ventana Canyon!

Tucson apartment

“Good enough to do again!” We were pleased that the unit was clean and ready for us - even had new small appliances and new sheets. Could have used an extra set of sheets so that the beds could be made up even when the sheets were in the laundry. The Comcast units had not been set up properly, when we were able to reach the office, someone promptly appeared and made things right. Overall we were ver satisfied and will rebook. However, the office is difficult to reach to make the initial bookings and slow to respond to questions before you arrive - and I have seen them make a mistake in booking two parties for the same condo. (This was straightened out - but caused some serious agitiation before it was resolved)

“This was a place of calm in a busy world.” My husband and I enjoyed a week at your casita. We found that it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the burros and they liked the carrots. It was easy to take day trips to see many of the local sights. Bill is a charming and helpful host. We are recommending your place to our friends.

“Awesome” One of the best rentals I have had the opportunity to stay. Surrounded by mountains and close to hiking trails, it was a great get-away. Peaceful and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of city life but with easy access to the city. The majestic sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all amenities including washer/dryer. I would recommend for families, couples or just yourself.

“This is a home away from home” We must like this condo since we have rented it for the past several years! Ventana Vista is private and, when we have been there(February), very quiet. The property is nicely located near Sabino Canyon and has good access to shopping and other Tucson activities. There is a pool and fitness room, too. We have found Tucson Vacation Rentals' service to be excellent - the check-in procedure is convenient and the condo is clean, well stocked and very well maintained. The facilities(laundry, kitchen, internet, TV) are up to date and in great working order. The furnishings are tasteful and very comfortable, as well. In short, this is a splendid base for a Tucson visit.

About Tucson

If you've never had an up-close encounter with a real Saguaro cactus, or seen a coyote skim over the ground like a ghost through a pool of silver moonlight, or witnessed a rose-colored sunrise over a golden wilderness, then you need to visit the desert. Specifically, you need to take a trip to Tucson, Arizona. Located in southern Arizona near the Catalina Mountains, the area now called Tucson was inhabited by the Hohokam people for about 4,000 years before the arrival of Spanish missionaries in the late 1600s. The adobe walled Tucson Presidio and the Mission San Xavier Del Bac still stand as iconic structures marking their arrival. Since Tucson joined the United States in 1854, it has become home to cattle ranchers, miners, Apache people, railroads and railroad workers, and all the stories that we've come to associate with the Wild West. Now a thriving metropolitan area boasting the presence of the University of Arizona, Tucson draws millions of visitors a year.

Here are a few suggestions of things to do in Tucson:

  • Explore Sabino Canyon: Hike, bike, pack a picnic basket, or take a narrated shuttle bus tour to witness the spectacular natural beauty of this part of the Coronado National Forest.
  • See the desert from a hot air balloon: Tucson Balloon Rides offers a sunrise flight followed by a champagne brunch, a truly romantic experience.
  • Horseback riding: Another exhilarating way to witness the sun drenched beauty of the Arizona landscape is by horseback.
  • Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum: This place is a combined natural history museum, botanical garden and zoo, featuring some of the animals native to Arizona like coyotes, bear, mountain lions, and desert birds.
  • Pima Air and Space Museum: Visit this military and science museum housing one of the world's largest aircraft collections.
  • Kitt Peak National Observatory: Check out this working research station and see the night sky in ways you may never have imagined.

No matter when you arrive in Tucson, the weather is almost guaranteed to be dry and sunny. It's especially pleasant here during the winter, which explains Tucson's status as a destination point for many annual festivals including the Southwest Wings Birding Festival, The Tucson International Mariachi Conference, the WCG Golf Championship, and dozens of others.

The best way to experience Tucson is by staying in a vacation rental. For your stay, book a luxury desert villa, or find a condo downtown. Luckily, there are plenty of affordable properties here no matter when you plan your visit.

Very relaxing time.

The desert guest house is a very good location. It is about 10 to 15 minutes from most places. It is close to grocery stores, and close to some really excellent restaurants. The view is really nice and it is a very private place. We got a chance to meet Meg and she is so very sweet. We would stay again.see more

Enjoy--we did!

We had the opportunity to spend three and a half months renting at the house in Tucson, AZ and cannot say enough about how beautiful the terrain was outside the windows. Seeing the stunning southern Arizona sunsets, then the star illumination of the dark sky followed by the sunrises over the Tucson Mountains was an experience we'll not forget. Desert creatures visited each day and night, and it was delightful to be so close to the land. The house was appointed with everything one might need to live in a home-like setting while on holiday and is quite comfortable.see more

Excellent accommodation for Tucson working visit.

The location provides easy access to all parts of the city, with the grid traffic pattern and I 10 providing convenient avenues for travel. A sweet little compound of 10 units, some attached, but never noisy, of attractive and well furnished two bedroom units for easy living with friends. Everything is fresh and nicely done with an eye for detail, and the owners are very professional and respond immediately with any special requests. I shall return. requests.see more

Well designed, very attractive 2 bedroom unit

Excellent location, in the north of the city (a car is helpful). This is the third time I’ve stayed with this rental group, for 12 day visit, and I’m always appreciative of their professionalism. Kitchen is well equipped with functional tools and attractive pottery, glassware, etc. Beautiful bathroom tile and counter. one quick easy repair note: bathroom sink has very low flow right now.see more
