This lovely 150 year old home is located on a quiet residential street just 4 blocks from the beach and within easy walking distance of all downtown attractions including the restaurants and the Washington Street mall.
The house is spacious, airy and elegant with original wide pine floors, a very large dining room with a breakfast alcove overlooking the rear lawn and gardens, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishes, cookware and tableware. We spent a week in this house and we loved it. We were two families of 4 (so 4 adults and 4 kids) and the house was spacious enough for all of us. It's perfectly located: a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and a 5-10 minute walk to "downtown" Cape May (with restaurants, shopping, etc.)
The house itself is beautiful, well decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is well furnished and the dining room is huge, perfect for two families.
We will definitely go back again! -

The house is beautifully located in a quiet area, within easy walking distance to the center mall and the boardwalk.
The accommodations are excellent, sleeping 9-10 comfortably, 3 baths. airconditioning, modern kitchen and fine facillities for dining a large group of guests if desired. Up-to date computer facilities of which I am not familiar but everyone else in my family appreciated. A charminmg screened-in back porch which we used for breakfast, lunch and late evening review of the days activities. A bonus was perfect weather!!

What we liked best: (1) spacious dining area, (2) convenient parking (3) well maintained yard good for activities (4) location to beach and shopping area (5) ample bathroom space (6) very nice master bedroom (6) convenience of downstairs bedroom to accomodate small children. (7) great grill!
What could be improved: (1) mattress in yellow bedroom (2) limited space in kitchen (3) overgrown hedges at entrance (4) limited storage space in twin-bed rooms -

In late summer 2011 we stayed here and it was a wonderful place! The owner was very nice to deal with and very friendly. We had a few snags come up during our stay but the owner was most gracious about it and did a great job of making it up to us. I would certainly rent this property again.

We have stayed at 106 Second St., West Cape May for three years. After the first year, it's like coming home. Any problems we have encountered have been promptly by Mr. Nelson. The house is as described. My grandchildren (ages 8 - 19) look forward to picking out their rooms. Only the adults sleep in the same rooms each year.

We have always had an excellent vacation in this house. I do believe the owner could have accomodated his older customers with price discounts. The house became too pricey for me and my family. Otherwise, it is a very good place to stay

We love this house, and the Nelson/Judge family has been terrific to work with. The house is light and airy and comfy. Wonderful yard, and awesome dining room table--we all fit! Only problem we've ever had is ants in the kitchen, and that seems to be typical of Cape May. Can't wait to go back for our 4th time this summer.
