Uniquely situated over a crystal clear mountain stream in the oldest living rainforest in the world, this Eco-certified guesthouse boasts total privacy with the only private swimming hole and waterfalls right off your verandah.
Our deep, natural swimming pool, endless waterfalls and one of the only hydro-electric run homes in this Grade 3 Heritage Listed rainforest, ensure your carbon footprint in this pristine environment is minimal.
The stunning waterfall sanctuary is situated only two hours scenic drive along beautiful coastline north from Cairns, and 20 minutes drive north of the Daintree River, nestled in dense rainforest. Centrally located, it is close to all local restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and tourist attractions.
If you are looking for peace and tranquility, you have found your Nirvana. Perfect for a romantic getaway for couples, or a fun place to share with family and friends. Having your own private swimming hole just off the house makes Daintree Secrets unique. Most guests don't want to leave the property once they arrive.

Daintree Secrets is a fully furnished open plan home with three bedrooms (2 Rooms with King size beds & the 3rd has a queen bed and a long single bed), 2 new bathrooms, a self contained and well stocked kitchen and a large scenic verandah. All linen is provided, including beach towels for swimming in our natural swimming pool. Linen is of the highest quality and replaced regularly.The kitchen is stocked with all the pantry basics for your convenience.
The house has a TV, DVD and CD player along with a library of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment. There is also a selection of books and games. However, there is no television, mobile phone or internet access. Part of the beauty of your stay at Secrets is that you can truly "unplug" and relax. The prefect digital detox!
Activities in this area are plentiful and include gentle walks , hiking and guided nature trails, crocodile tours, swimming, sailing, snorkeling, reef fishing and much more. However many guests tell us that they didn't want to leave the tranquility of their own private waterfall sanctuary. We highly recommend at least 3 nights stay if you would like to see some of the sights and enjoy all that Daintree Secrets has to offer.
