About Gold Coast

  • White Water World: If you love water parks, this is the place to be. Five amazing, extreme waterslides make up this attraction in addition to Nickelodeon's Pipeline Plunge and Wiggle Bay. This Villa is too good to be true. In fact, why would I write a review on this superb, extraordinary property if that just means next time I try to book, it’s completely booked out! However, the couple who own this heavenly destination have done such a world-class job on facilities, décor, bathrooms, kitchen, dining, ‘things to do’, and everything else that they deserve the highest praise, and the sincerest THANKS. I’m not permitted the 10,000 words I’d like to write to thank these owners so put simply, to stay here for a week or two, is like turning up at your benevolent Uncle Hugh’s mansion, with everything laid on. All that’s missing in this ‘castle on the lake’ is Fifi the French maid. STUNNING BLUE-LAKE LOCATION. Heated pool and spa overlooking the lake. World’s biggest collection of pool toys. Floating mat for the lake. Once during our holiday the kids decided to stay at the grand villa and skip one of the Gold Coast’s famous (read ‘crowded’) theme parks. Suited us just fine! Lake watersports : get this list! - peddleboat, sailboat, dinghy, kayaks, fishing. Feed the ducks. Open the champagne and chill out while watching the resident swans on the lake. Close to shops and markets. The beautiful, large French-style kitchen suits big family groups and ‘Foodies’…all can be seated at the huge, in-kitchen dining table. Plenty for kids to do-Wii, PlayStation, beautifully set up racing car booth (for Dad’s too!). Pool table. Complete beach kit with everything you’ll need. Bikes to peddle around the quiet streets to the local park. TVs in every room/Foxtel/internet Wood-fired pizza oven, decent coffee machine, vouchers for free meals and activities, a fantastic collection of tourist brochures. Standard-setting customer service from the owners. Brilliant for family holidays - kids totally occupied and visible all the time, rain or shine. Massage and spa treatments on site. Main ensuite is to die for! Correction, all the ensuites are to die for. Do not show your wife whatever you do, she’ll want one too! This is a private resort with the works. Exactly Right in Every Respect

There is little I can add to the previous reviews other than to endorse their comments regarding the apartment, its setting and location. We both really enjoyed our time here and hope to return in the not too distant future. The only thing is that next time I will make sure I have insect repellent with me. The marina attracts tiny biting midgies (rather like mosquitoes) and although they ignored my husband they seemed to enjoy giving me little nips whenever I decided to relax by the swimming pool. … see more

excellent apartment with awsome views!

we stayed in apartment 2205 for 14 nights, it was very clean tidy and well presented it has everything you need and more. when we were not out our 3 kids were kept well entertained with the hotel pools and the dvd library in the room (hope we didn't wear paddington bear out!) not to mention the free wi fi the older two were very happy. the location was very handy with supermarkets and cafes right underneath and only a 5 minuet walk to the beach.I Would highly recommend this apartment , Thanks Kevin and Lyn … see more
