In the afternoon bike along the community bike paths, go out for a sail, jet ski, kayak, or just hang out at the beach or your private pool. Private Pools are open from May 3, 2024 until October 13, 2024 and May 2, 2025 until October 12, 2025. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Pets are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.
All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Response from the manager I'm sorry your experience was less than you had hoped for. We did offer to come clean the property again but this service was refused. We didn't see any mice but we did put out some traps just in case and so far nothing still. 2 waterbugs were found, not roaches, although roaches are definitely a common sight on the Outer Banks (or anywhere else surrounded by a lot of water) so I believe you. Concerning the hot tub, the vendor reported back that it was half full and being used as a kiddie pool which was causing the issues it was having. Hot tubs must remain full to function properly. We didn't hear anything about any of the other items named. We only wished you had allowed us to see and resolve the issues.

Response from the manager Ms. Jackson, Thaks for taking the time to write your concerns abot your stay. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the house. We are somewhat confused about your aggressive comments about us as the management company on this review however. We received a call from your group on the Monday of your stay regarding a baby gate not working, the outlets in the bathroom not working, the fact that someone had "shorted out the stove" while you were cooking and the gas grill being dirty. We replaced the baby gate and cleaned the grill. The outlets were not working because someone had a high powered hair dryer and that blew the circuit for all of the bathroom outlets. The button that controls these outlets is actually right on the outlet and it was reset and someone in your group was shown where to reset it again if it happened another time during your stay. We also dispatched an appliance repair company to the house to fix the stove. We then heard from you on that Friday night that the propane tank was empty on the grill. We replaced the propane tank the next day. We never heard from you regarding any cleaning issues upon your arrival. We do regret that you didn't find the house in perfect condition regarding the cleaning but we can assure you this is our year round profession, and whomever told you that we are "worn down" in August is probably not in this business. Guest satisfaction is our lifeblood, and we regret that we did not have the opportunity to fully satisfy you on this vacation over issues that would have been so easily rectified. We are certain the issues you encountered with the kitchen were disconcerting, but we assure you that there was no way we could anticipate the issues you encountered during your stay. The key we think is how we respond when things do arise, and we were under the impression that we handled each issue as well as possible. Its disappointing to hear that we fell short in your eyes. This is a beautiful home that has enjoyed great reviews and experiences from previous guests and we assure you that your disappointment was an isolated experience. All the best from the beach!
