“Wonderful get a way on Lake Rousseau” This is a special place. The house has everything you need for a wonderful time. The kitchen while small has everything you need to cook anything you want. Gas grill, charcoal grill and smoker are also there. The view from the dining room table is so calming. The dock on the lake was our favorite place! Watching the sunsets, fish, turtles and birds was peaceful and relaxing. Great kayaking on the lake(launch from the front yard) and nearby rivers. The town of Dunnelleon has plenty of stores, restaurants and river tours. The owner of the property, Will Steinbeck was a joy to work with. Readily available and answered all our questions. We would not hesitate to return to this property. We are sharing a picture of one of our sunsets. Just stunning!

This small town in Marion County was once famous for the mining activities in-and-around Rainbow River.
It was founded in 1887, and grew massively after phosphate was discovered in 1889. That industry has since faded, leaving room for tourism to take its place. So, it's no surprise this is a great spot for a vacation!
Dunnellon is a small town framed by both the Rainbow and Withlacoochee rivers. It still sparkles with the old-time charm that many Floridian beach towns have lost.
However, just because it's a small town doesn't mean it’s dull. It's a popular movie location – you may recognize it as the location for the 2001 film Jeepers Creepers!
