Beautiful Bahamas Quiet spacious apt. includes car

This apartment is half of a duplex – we (the owners) live in the other half. It is very spacious with separate entrance, an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study/extra bedroom, screened back patio, laundry room with washer and dryer. The large master bedroom has an en suite bath, vanity and large walk in closet. The second bath is shared by the other bedrooms. Bedroom two has two twin beds and bedroom three has a queen size – all super comfortable. All bedrooms have A/C and space heaters. Fans and all linens are provided. The full kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave and all dishes,... etc.

The house is just a mile and half from a beautiful beach and a local beach side restaurant. It is located 15 minutes from the center of town, reachable by the car, which is included in the cost of the rental (drivers must be at least 25 years old). It is a Volvo station wagon.

Since we are located on the eastern side of town, we are just a mile from the Casuarina bridge, which takes you to East end, home of some of the country's most beautiful, pristine and secluded beaches, Lucayan National Park and the famous Bishops bar and grill.

Freeport is home to many activities - water sports, nature/kayaking tours, lots of great restaurants, golf, shopping and night life.

This duplex apartment comes with cable and wireless internet, dvd player and large selection of movies. Bring your laptop so you can stay in touch with friends and family. The house is secure with air tight, impact resistant windows. It has its own separate yard with a green space behind the property.

Our house is perfect for those who want to be away from the usual touristy traffic - Bird song in the morning is exquisite. The area is a very quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with few neighbors and lots of woods but we are close enough to hop in the car and be down town in a short drive. Plus, I am a massage therapist and I live right next door! How convenient is that??

My husband and I will welcome you and make you feel right at home. We have two dogs and two cats. They are all friendly and love attention, but they live on our side. The cats may come and visit, but you can keep your screen door closed if you are not up for feline visitors.   There was no better place to be during "Hurricane Sandy"

  Thanks to Ricardo and Susan our vacation during the week of "hurrican Sandy" was quite the adventure. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort of the house. Thank goodness for the gas stove which enabled us to warm up food despite the four day power outage. We felt very safe and secure and given the location of the home on "higher land' vs. the other end of the Island we received no flooding. With the use of the car we were able to explore the Island and with a beach just down the road we were thrilled to take in a "moonlit" walk on the pristine white sands. Ricardo and Susan were the most amazing hosts helping us with any questions we had and there to offer us help in the "unique" situation we encountered. If you have a chance ask Susan if she would be willing to be your Private Chef as she is an amazing cook. Susan and Ricardo went so beyond what you could imagine or expect from another owner managed rental property, the personal touch of having the owners living next door made the difference between what would have been a complete loss to a great adventure and the start of a great friendship.   It all really starts with Susan and Ricardo. These folks are so kind, considerate and concerned for your well-being it makes the rest of the process effortless. The apartment is beautiful, clean, bright and safe. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a few miles outside the city but well worth it and close to the beaches. Really only have good things to say; you won't regret it.

  Relaxing vacation off the beaten path

  I was looking for a quiet place to relax for my teenaged son and I.
  
  We wanted to stay some place where we each had our own space and a full kitchen. We also didn't want to be in the middle of all the tourist spots but still close enough to the activity to enjoy it.
  
  Susan and Ricardo's place was perfect! More than enough space, very clean and comfortable.
  
  And I have to say that their suggestions for activities and advice made our vacation even better. They were very gracious hosts.
  
  While there I had one of Susan's massages - Wow! And we also had family pictures taken at the beach with Bahamas Papaya Productions - great photos to remind us of our stay.
  
  I hope to go back next summer!
