We spent a fantastic week in the Knotty Pine Delight cabin. Everything was very clean, there were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. We mainly used it as a base between hikes, but it had several TVs, satellite, Blu-ray players, pool table, etc. One of the bedrooms is a loft which opens up over the main living area, so beware if you need 3 rooms with privacy. For us it worked.

Caught multiple works on the rentals front porch. Had to keep alarm on the entire trip durring the day. Construction was loud and woke us up every day. They even worked on the weekend. Management said they had no knowledge and did not compensate us.

I have and always will use Elk Springs Resort when staying in Gatlinburg except when I come to live there for good! The cabin I picked was wonderful. The pictures were not misleading. I was a little worried about the space around the pool table but there was plenty of room to have a great time. Having an alarm on the cabin also made me feel secure. The hot tub is a square one and not a round one like in the pictures which made it better. The drive to it was a challenge but you should expect that if you want a view of the mountains. And it was well worth it too. There was plenty of parking in the driveway too. The kitchen had everything you needed. Whoever owns Knotty Pine Delight, wanted to make sure you felt like you were at home. You can try all these different cabin places in GB, but if you have ever stayed with Elk Springs, don't take the risk of going somewhere else. You save up for a vacation, staying with them you know you will get everything you want. See ya next year Elk Springs!!!

Really good time. I am sure there are cabins with better views. Should have spent more time indoors than outdoors. Would have been nice if they provided shampoo and conditioners also.

The cabin was spotless and have the most amazing view! We had a wonderful stay. The decor and furnishings were beautiful. The only negative comment was the knobs on the clothes dryer need to be replaced. It was a challenge at first to get it started. That was a minor thing, though. We absolutely loved it and will be going back again!

We stayed here for a family vacation, and I really couldn't say enough good things about this cabin. It is stunningly beautiful and immaculately clean. We went with three couples and everyone had their own space, and the view is just amazing. If I win the lottery, we will be back to make the owners an offer! This is by far the cleanest and nicest place we have ever stayed. It looks brand new! I would recommend Knotty Pine Delight to anyone and everyone. Fabulous!
As a side note, the staff was wonderful with getting us detailed directions and using the door code to check in was a breeze. Thank you for a great experience Elk Springs Resort! -

Great home, great somewhat secluded location, great views, great beds, great layout, great rental company. What more do you need to know? This cabin is perfect for three couples traveling together as all three bedrooms are on separate floors. As it was, my wife and I were traveling with our young teens so we relinquished the loft bedroom with the mountain views to them as we weren't comfortable having them sleep on the main level, or downstairs. If you're kids are a bit older this wouldn't be a problem.
The view from the upstairs bedroom, the main living area and the wrap-around deck is beautiful. The hot-tub worked great and was put to good use every morning.
The entertainment centers on the main floor and downstairs made the little televsion/movie watching we did very enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this cabin and Elk Springs Resort! -

I brought my family of five (ages 4-10) and we all had a fantastic time. The cabin was immaculate and absolutely breathtaking! We had never been to Gatlinburg before and found this site online. It was so easy to book and the staff was very helpful and professional. They even checked in with us to make sure we found everything to our liking. We will definitely return and use Elk Springs to book our next trip!!!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful trip!!!!

This cabin was more than we could have imagined. It was extremely clean, quiet, and the view was incredible. I am very picky regarding rentals, but this was beyond what I could have imagined. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We loved this property!! The only thing I was worried about was it being 10 miles outside of gatlinburg. It really wasn't bad at all, in fact, I would stay in the very same property again knowing exactly where it is. The house was huge, clean and had plenty to do to keep everyone happy for a nice night in. Our grill ran out of gas in the middle of grilling but the owners brought a new tank in 20 minutes so we didn't even lose the food we had started. The mountain view was gorgeous! It's saved as the background on my computer home screen. This is a 5-star house and I WILL stay here again.

Pros:
*Great price for what is essentially a 3 bedroom cabin. The loft is great in winter, almost certainly a nightmare in summer. Since we went in February, it worked out well for two couples and two kids.
*Absolutely wonderful view
*Spacious and nice furniture
Cons
*parts of cabin are unclean
*bathrooms are blah and thne showerheads spray everywhere (in a bad way)
*kitchen and bathroom look older and not as well furnished as rest of home
*staff seemed unprofessional and not used to dealing with customers (they sounded young and uncertain and you never see them so when you call and it sounds like some guy's 19 year old son is managing the property it seems less professional than other cabins we've stayed at.
*While I like seclusion, they do not tell you that you need a 4X4 to get up about a mile of steep mountain if there is any rain or ice until you literally drive up to the hill and see an unlit sign. Bad form.
*Finally a maintanence man just strolled up onto the BACK PORCH unannounced and uncalled for in the mid-afternoon. My wife and I had just gotten out of the hottub and I almost took a bat to the guys head since he could have been anyone.Response from Elk Springs Resort - 02/29/2012

This cabin is so great! I got married in it, it is that beautiful! The only thing I did not like about the cabin is that you have to check out by 10 a.m.

We stayed at the Knotty Pine Delight and overall we enjoyed our stay. We chose this cabin because we wanted a nice view, so we knew that it was away from the Elk Springs Resort. The location was private and the view is just as nice as the photos. The cabin
itself was cozy and well stocked. We liked how each bedroom was on a different level, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms/tubs clean. We would recommend Elk Springs Resort to others. From the time we made the reservation, the staff has been professional,
informative, and quick to respond. This cabin works well for 4-6 people and as the name states, it was a delight. It would of been nicer to stay longer. maybe next time. -

The cabin was beautiful and the views spectacular! Took a few days to get used to the ride up and down the winding mountain road. The family enjoyed the pool table. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. I would definitely recommend the cabin!

We had a wonderful stay, and the cabin was luxurious. Beautiful view, hot tub and playing pool were the high points. There was no hot water in the upstairs shower, but we had enough options that we didn't call to have it fixed. Cabin is a bit out of the way, maybe 15 min to Gatlinburg, which felt like a big plus at first, but a small minus when we were hungry. :-) I would have no problem staying here again on my next visit.

Loved the cabin. Location was great. Place was very clean and very well stocked. Lots of towels and supplies. Customer service was great.
Hot tub works, but could use some repair. Hike to Ramsey Cascades was awesome. If you have the time (4+ hours) it is worth it! -

Everything was spotless, the quality of the cabin and its appointments was top-notch, the views breathtaking. The only hiccup was the hot tub, which did not ever get very hot. Beyond that, perfect in every way.

I stayed with a group of friends from Sunday to Thursday. It was a blast! Our only problem was that the grill didn't turn on, and we made a call to maintenance. They said they'd be there shortly, but never showed up. Unfortunately, we wasted a lot of hamburger meat.. However, all in all the cabin was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay, just watch out for the ladybugs!

Very clean. Plenty of kitchen dishes, utensils, etc. Nicely decorated. The only jacuzzi tub is in the open upstairs loft over the living room which can be inconvenient. Great view from the living room and deck. This property is about as secluded as possible up there. Houses around but no immediate neighbor next door, which is nice. Access via steep winding, but paved road. Could be tough in icy conditions. Approximately 8 miles farther northeast from Gatlinburg than the normal Elk Springs Resort properties, but that was offset by the secluded feeling. Cell phone check-in was a breeze. This was our first experience with a Gatlinburg cabin and we were very pleased. We had no problems whatsoever and would happily stay in this cabin again.

I was very happy with our entire experience with the cabin. From the time I booked it to the time we were staying there, there was not a complaint. We did have a problem with one of the toliets and were pleasantly surprised by the quick response we received. It was fixed before we were back from our outing. Also, everyone we spoke with was extremely friendly. Thanks for a great experience.

I got very sick, nausa, tingling all over my body, dizzyness, ect. Had to have an abulance take me to the hospital. Maybe we can get a one night free stay. Just one night. We paid a lot of money for this stay, something I've never dones like this before. I'd like to bring my wife back up, because I was with the kids.
