This 3 bedroom 2 bath condo located on beautiful Gorgona Beach is part of Playa Serena Resort gated beachfront community. From the balcony of this 19th floor home you have a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean and a spectacular mountain view as well. Condo is new w/ all appliances, a/c, WiFi, pool, equipped exercise room. There is a porta-crib located in the 3rd bedroom for you to use. There are rules regarding the number of guests allowed to rent a condo at Playa Serena and so this condo can accommodate up to 6.

We just returned from spending the month of February in Gorgona. Tom and Karen have this 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo prepared with everything. The kitchen is equipped with all you need and the space was great for the 4 of us. Wi-fi was easy and having access to free long distance in North america and a great Weber bbq. The view from the balcony overlooking the ocean on one side and the mountains and fishing village was great. We met wonderful people on our morning walks -an incredible beach and only a 10 minute walk to the fishing village for a fresh catch of sea bass. Just a few minutes to walk to the local sports bar, La Ruina - sit at the bar - and the bus stop is right across the street - 30 cents to the main road! Cabs were easy - the guard would call for us or you can set up the cell phone Tom and Karen have available and for $3. we drove into Coronado with 3 supermarkets - Super 99, the The Rey and and the El Machetazo - best produce We took a bus from the main road into the albrook Mall in Panama City - $2.50. Fyi - when you return, book your ticket in the Mall for Santa Clara and get off at Gorgona - you will need to buy a 'superpass card'' for $1.50 as well, not just the bus tickets. If you need help - Tom and Karen have a wonderful property manager, Carlo - he was there for us, when one of our companions forgot her insulin! There is also a new clinic in Coronado - the Doctor speaks English - $20 to see him! They have a very good dentist in Coronado close to Super 99. Day trip - definitely El Vallee - cooler - great market and busy on a Sunday. Grab Oscar for a tour of the Old City and the Canal - he picked us up at the airport - great English and sense of humour and a wealth of info. This was a great location! Tom & Karen have everything organized so that you have little to worry about on your stay. We opened up the windows and had a great cross-breeze in the condo every evening. We spent several days just relaxing poolside or walking along the beach. Gorgona is also a good central place to base out of for great day trips. We went to El Valle a few times, enjoying the local flavor along with Ziplining through the mountain rain forest canopy and horseback riding up the mountains. We also found new beaches with great waves up past Pedasi.
Chitre is a nice little city with lots of nice shopping. Also, there are new National Parks opening up past Penonome and a historical park at El Cano. We find new and exciting things to do every time we go to Panama. Finding a new condo to stay at on the beach just makes our expectations for next years vacation even higher.

The condo is large and very nice. This complex is almost brand new and it's situated right on the beach. There's a nice gym, but mostly it's about the outdoors. There's a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Pacific! The beach itself is wide, clean and uncrowded. The water remains a comfortable 80F year 'round and the waves are fun.
There are some great, inexpensive restaurants nearby and this is a great base for some excursions too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. The views from the balcony were spectacular and everything we needed was there at the property. We spent almost every afternoon down at the pool or on the beach. That is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to. We found the furnishings to be very warm and comfortable and the three bedrooms and two baths gave us all the room we needed for us and the kids.
We were pleasantly surprised to find so many stores and restaurants within a short distance from the property. The people at the property were very professional and helpful with directions and pointing out some places to visit while were there.
We will be sure to get in contact with you before our next visit.
