Country stay in rural Kaipara. Hosted self contained studio cottage style accommodation. Water views over the Otamatea River; Part of the Kaipara Harbour. Located just 90minutes north of Auckland city. Amazing rural countryside with bush and water views; come and discover a perfect escape ...

It's a short bushwalk to the water's edge and mangroves. (though of course; tidal) There is an all tide boat ramp less than a minute down the road for those who would like to fish the Kaipara Harbour; fresh snapper, flounder and scallops.

We could be a great stop off to break your journey north or vice versa. Or stay with us whilst travelling the twin coast discovery route. Powai accommodation is close to Wellsford, Mangawhai and Matakohe for the famous Kauri Museum

House rules

No smoking. No parties. WiFi can be slow. Best to arrive before dark, and before 9pm. Need to know if you would like to use the slipper outside bath for hot water etc. This is a rural spot, 15 mins from stores and cafes, come escape the every day hustle & bustle!

“Awesome stay”

It was such an amazing place to spend 2 nights.Owner Cath is caring and kind. My self and wife absolutely loved the place. Just a bit sad our stay was too short. Surely will be back again

How do damage deposits work?
