The kids will enjoy the short walk to the Avalon Pier for fishing and games. Shopping is just a block away for anything you will need, and you are within walking distance to some of the most famous local restaurants in town. Just minutes away from several putt-putt locations, go carts, movies, and groceries! Located beside a life guarded beach access (June-August only) will give Mom peace of mind too. Also, stay in touch with wireless internet access!

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Response from the manager Dear dpapman, Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. We don't recognize you as one of our previous guests in this house, we are glad you noticed and appreciated the fact that the property owner has invested tremendously in this house which has become our most popular rental property. A completely new kitchen, new flooring throughout, new windows, completely new decks on the oceanfront and west side of the property, new bedding, a hot tub was added, bathrooms were re-done, the interior was repainted, there has been significant landscaping, and a new hvac system was installed and the owner allows guests to bring their pets at no extra charge. Shades of Blue is indeed an excellent value and we are glad you enjoyed your stay! All the best from the beach.

“wonderful place to stay”
We loved it here. There was some remodeling done and more to come in the future. Beautiful ocean view and easy access to the beach. We plan on renting here again next year.

“wonderful,easy, beautiful weather”
