Ocean front at Quintas del Mar on Cerritos beach a few minutes north of El Cid Marina and the Golden Zone. All units are privately owned. There are no timeshares.
Our unit on the 7th floor features 1 bedroom with king size bed and private bath with tub and shower, den has additional sleeping for 2, main bath with walkin shower, ocean views from the veranda, living room, den and master bedroom.
Unit is fully air conditioned. Kitchen is well stocked for your cooking needs and features full size appliances. There are 2 TV's one in the den and one in the master both on satellite. Laundry room has washer and dryer.

My husband and I spent two and a half months (January 1 to March 14, 2013) in this lovely condo. We could hardly believe our eyes when we stepped into it. It is decorated beautifully, and we found it extremely well equipped and supplied with soaps, detergents, etc. The view is lovely as well. And the grounds are beautifully kept.
We found the staff to be very friendly and pleasant. Mike and Kim, the rental agents were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
We were impressed with the security in place, and love the location. It is a nice quiet area and the beach is wonderful.
If we were to have any complaints, they would be as follows:
1. The oven doesn't work properly. (We did not report it, as we didn't want to complain.)
2. It seems this was a "cold" winter, and this being a North facing condo, it was cold much of the time we were there. So cold, in fact, that after dealing with it for about three weeks, we went out and bought a space heater to make it bearable. Others in North facing condos were having the same problem, but since their stays were shorter than ours, I guess they just dealt with it and went home. We really feel the owners of those condos should spend about $70.00 and equip their units with space heaters.Response from Darrow Christmann - 05/03/2013

Sorry to hear you had a couple of problems.
It took us awhile to get use to the way electric stoves operate in Mexico. They seem to heat differently than in the US. But we will have it looked at and repaired if there is something wrong.
As for the space heater I wish you would have contacted Mike & Kim they would have provided one.
We strive to keep everything in good working order and ensure our quests are comfortable. If there is a problem Mike & Kim are there to take care of it.

This is an excellent place. On the 7th floor overlooking a nice pool, grounds, and the Pacific ocean. Brightly painted, extremely well equipped, one BR two bath condo. Pool and grounds nicely done, with plenty of palapas and nice loungers for laying on the beach. Very secure, with community and building guards. Buses run frequently into town where restaurants are plentiful and inexpensive.
Minor improvements could make this place even better. Dvd player needs to be added (we requested but never received from property manager). Pool was too cold to comfortably swim in during our april stay. Other nearby facilities heat their pools. Tennis court is almost unplayable and needs to be resurfaced. Tv system in condo is on "basic" cable, so watching sports at night requires a trip to a sports bar. -

We feel so fortunate to have found this jewel on the internet. The minute we arrived, we were well greeted by a representative from the management company and the security guard. When we opened the door at No. 705, it was a "wow". It was far better than what we saw on the internet pictures! It felt like home instantly. In the places where we stayed in the past years, we never had full size appliances: a real luxury! The decor is outstanding and suited us perfectly!The owners were so easy to deal with and made us feel like friends. There`s nothing more we could have asked for!
Thank you so much for letting us share your corner of heaven. We hope to, maybe in a couple more years as we have timeshares still to deal with, to be again able to rent your condo for many more weeks.

Donna and I spent a week at Darrow & Diana's condo in Quintas Del Mar. The unit is super spotless and has been decorated in bright Mexican colours, giving it great character. Everything was great, including the perfect beach, right out front. All the neighbours and owners were very friendly and happy to meet new vacationers. Now that Christmas is over, and it's getting rather nippy here in the Pacific Northwest, we're ready to go back!

Our family rented this apartment in august, 2010. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the apartment very much. The apartment itself was great, the pool was very good and the beach was relatively secluded and exactly what we hoped for.

We enjoyed the condo; fit our needs perfectly. Quiet, excellent pool, tennis courts, beach access. Out of town (our preference) excellent bus access, lots of room, all we needed, good staff.

We were so impressed when we first entered the condo. It was clean and comfortable and the view was out of this world. We liked it so much that we will probably never do an all-inclusive vacation ever again and we are planning on returning in July for another week and Next January for a 14 day stay. We absolutly loved this place and the owners were very helpful before we took our vacation there.
