Perfect for four, the Cityside corporate apartment is brilliantly located; just across the road from Melbourne Exhibition Centre and just across the Yarra River from Melbourne CBD, and long term stays are welcome. Your boutique apartment is tucked inside the stylish Rivergarden Condos building, a modern new building with a security entrance, which combines the beauty of a magnificent modern building with brilliant facilities such as a fully enclosed 25m lap pool, tennis court, gardens and a communal b-b-q area.

This is a two-bedroom apartment: with a king bed and SPLITTABLE queen bed and single foldaway bed. There's also a cot and high chair available for for free if needed. Don't forget to bring linen for the cot.

Your Melbourne corporate apartment includes high quality furnishings and appliances, linen, beautiful bath towels, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Opening windows in the bedrooms and onto the balcony from the living area allow fresh air through all rooms when you want it. Ask us about our free local dinners.

(Note from Owner: whilst Melbourne is our home, we currently live overseas and bought this apartment to enjoy when we often stay in Melbourne. It has been furnished to be comfortable “home away from home” rather than just a serviced apartment. So it is a really great place to stay, and super comfortable. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony (Melbourne weather permitting) whilst taking in the view of Melbourne city. We also love the trams right out front, so it is so easy to get around. You can wander across the road to the Southbank Promenade with all the great restaurants, a short walk to South Melbourne Market for some delicious food, or take a tram ride into the city or to Port Melbourne to enjoy the beach. It is really a perfect place for to enjoy Melbourne)!

NB: Many of our apartments are pet-friendly!

PLEASE NOTE OUR MINIMUM STAYS REQUIREMENTS BELOW:

90 days or more in advance, the min stay is 28 nights

We won't be able to accept bookings that do not meet the above criteria.

Service fee: $150 per stay

*Very early and late arrivals require the following fees to have someone there at these times:

Between 6:00 am and 9:30 am: $25.00

Between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm: $25.00

Between 9:00 pm and midnight $55.00

Between midnight and 6:00 am: $100.00

SECURITY BOND

We require a minimum security bond of $600, which increases for long stays and last-minute bookings.

Getting around

The trams are just out front, and can take you to Port Melbourne, St Kilda, or the other way into the CBD and to wherever you want to from there; or you can just walk into the CBD quite easily. It is a one minute walk from the 109 Port Melbourne - Box Hill tram, the 12 Victoria Gardens - St Kilda (Fitzroy St) tram and the 96 St Kilda Beach - East Brunswick tram at the 125-Port Junction/79 Whiteman St (Southbank) stop.

Interaction with guest

We send you instructions on how to collect your keys on site once your booking is confirmed. Our office is remote from the apartment, so we communicate by phone or email. We generally check with you within 24 hours of arrival to make sure that everything is okay, but we are available by phone and email for extended office hours every day. A compendium with full instructions and local information is supplied in all of our apartments

You can walk to the market, the city or just around the corner to the Southbank Promenade, which is rich in great cafes, restaurants and bars. There aren't that many two-bedroom apartments with two bathrooms around Southbank, so yes, this is great for mum and dad and the kids. I'm glad you enjoyed the facilities also; the pool, gym and tennis court do come in handy sometimes. I do hope that we see you or your friends again. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
