We stayed at Villa Esther just last week. It's in a excellent location with walking access to Bikini Beach as well as La Playa which provides a free chair and umbrella, with drink purchase. The plunge pool is perfect for a cooling down after the beach. Wifi keeps you connected with home without massive cell charges, and the entire place is clean and functional. A/C works great on hot nights. Best part is your walking distance to some of the best cuisine on the island. It's all here at Villa Esther, as well as an outstanding staff to welcome you.

Wonderful villa, clean, nice pull out couch, the pool was fantastic!
Only one recommendation: the rocks out to the pool and lounge chairs hurt your feet... maybe tile or concrete would be better?Response from St Martin Reservation Center - 08/28/2012

My husband, toddler and I loved Villa Esther. The location was ideal. The place was fresh and clean and comfortable. Some downstairs furniture was yet to arrive and thus why comfort was limited. The only negatives were the lack of a toilet in the bedroom bath (very odd) and the biting bugs in the yard. On the side, the beds were very comfortable, the a/c great, awesome outside space. Overall we loved the unit and will consider it in the future. Recommend to agency that they put all appliance/tv directions in English as working the stove was initially a challenge. All in all we had a great week.
