Located less than five miles west of Disney, the resort is set back from the hustle and bustle of the busy US-192 Highway and is the ideal location to provide you with the best of both worlds - close enough to have everything within reach, yet far enough away to give you peace and tranquility.
At the entrance of the community you will find the 'Shoppes at Vista del Lago' with a selection of stores and restaurants including Pizza Hut, a Chinese Buffet and a Pub/restaurant. The US-192 main highway has a great selection of restaurants including Houllihans, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster and TGI Friday's. There is also a Publix and SuperTarget close by and 24 hour Super Walmart.

I have stayed and enjoyed this home twice now and will not hesitate to book again for our next vacation. It was definately a home away from home with all the extras to make any vacation easy and relaxing. Sarah and Ken made the experience stress free from the beginning to the end of the stay and are always there to quickly answer and questions. The home was very clean and spacious, and the Harry Potter room was a delight for my son (and me). There was a library of various books and dvds to enjoy for whenever we spent the days resting. The screened in porch was great for sun bathing without the bother of any bugs. My family and I will never stay in another hotel. To have the space and privacy of a home where you aren't on top of each other like in a hotel room is a definate plus to any vacation, and I will never look for any other home than Sleepy Hollow to stay in next time we are in Florida! I can't say enough good things about this home. Give it a try and you'll never want to stay any where else.

I can't say enough about the ease from beginning to end of plannIng our family dream vacation. Any questions or concerns were addressed immediately. The home was beautiful, comfortable and inviting. I have four boys ages 5 to 14. They loved the Harry Potter themed room and my teenager loved having a king size comfortable bed. I can't say enough about the home, special touches and ease of this rental. It made our dream vacation come true.

We visited Orlando for a week in late July 2011. Three adults and two kids (8 and 5). We were primarily there for Happy Potter, so spent three days at Universal's parks, plus a day at Wet and Wild and a day out at Kennedy Space Centre. We chose this house to give us some space and to get away from the theme parks at night for a bit of a break. It turned out to be a great decision. In every way, this was a brilliant stay.
Booking from Australia was simple, with speedy responses via email. We received via mail an extensive package of information which gave us great confidence about what to bring and what to expect - more owners of rentals should do this.
It's a self check-in experience, but very easy with the information provided. The house is in a gated community with security checkpoints, so feels very safe. It's also extremely quiet. We barely saw anyone else and heard nothing at night.
The house is large (two living rooms, large bedrooms, both dining and meals tables, a large screened porch and a further open porch plus a separate laundry!). It is very well appointed with everything you can imagine, including a huge and easy to use kitchen. We even found and used a small cooler for our day at the water park. Large TVs with a good DVD library and a great Harry Potter themed kids room kept the kids very happy. We had very long days and it was terrific to return here each night to relax.
The house is air conditioned but also has ceiling fans. The bathrooms are in good condition and the living areas easily accommodation everyone. There's free WIFI, a working computer and free phone calls. Cable TV and a Wii. Honestly, you could live here. Dealing with the owners and their local managers was simple.
We were focused on Universal, which was an easy 30 minute drive along highways. The airport was 45 minutes and Kennedy Space Centre about 1.15 hours. There are several huge supermarkets within 5-10 minutes drive and millions of restaurants on the main strip.
We had tons of space and saved a heap of money vs staying at the park (which you can put into express passes, great good, the usual trinkets etc... and come out well ahead). Everyone was upset to leave and should we ever return, it would be to stay here. Thank you Sarah and Ken for a terrific stay. -

We just returned from Orlando, where we spent a week at Sleepy Hollow. The accompidations were exactly as presented, very nice and upscale property. We were most impressed that the location was not overly exagerated. It really was 10 minutes to all the Disney theme parks. We really did go home during the heat of the day for lunch and a swim. We did travel around Orlando to some extent and I do not beleive we could have found a more convient and nice place to stay, plenty of stores and restaurants just outside the gate, with peace and quite inside. If we go again, this is definitely where we will stay.

Once again these owners do not disappoint. This is the second property we have rented from these owners and it was an awesome experience. Ken and Sarah are possibly the best rental owners in all of Florida. This home was set up for comfort and fun. It is located in a very quiet area of a secure and friendly development. The home was meticulous with plenty of room for family. The beds are oh so comfortable and the Harry Potter room is the delight of any Hog Warts wanna-be. Sitting on the deck after a long day of theme parking or conferencing going is relaxing and the screened-in porch is available on those rare occasions it rains. Two large screen TVs in the public areas mean no one misses a favorite show and access to the club house makes it easy to hot tub or swim if you wish.
All in all this property is top notch. Easy access to everything Disney but much more comfortable than any hotel. I highly recommend the property on its comfort alone but the bonus of working with Ken and Sarah make it a must stay. -

We (my five kids and I) are big Disney, Attraction, Ocean and america-fans and your house in the middle from all these things was perfect! We were the whole day in different Parks, on the beach or shopping, but when we come back to your house we had the feeling the we stay in our own house like our home! The harry potter room was really cute and we had everything in the house. I hope we can come back as soon as possible. Kind regards Bella

We spent a week in Sleepy Hollow and really had a ball there. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the huge Tv's and our kides had great fun playing the Wii and the huge library of Dvd's that were available to us. The boys were very impressed with the Harry Potter Room. We were so relaxed there that it was almost too much of an effort to visit the theme parks. We would recommend Sleepy Hollow to anyone with kids and hope to return some day.

We were the first people to stay in this home after the owners refurbished it and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, very spacious and very homely and it was great to be able to come home every day and fix dinner or a BBQ. We have never stayed in a vacation home before, but we are surely hooked now. The kids loved the Harry Potter room and our master bed was heavenly! The kids also loved all the Disney dvds and the wii game on the big screen tv - they've asked us to get one at home now!
The community was really friendly and the pool close by was a magnet for the kids.
The location is awesome and the shortcut to Disney the owners gave us was a real time saver. We came home most days in the afternoons and the closeness to the parks made it easy for us,
Thanks for a great stay, we'll definitely be back and have recommended the house to friends already.
