For stays over 28 days you are free to heat the pool and spa as you want and use the a/c and heat as you want. you have a $250 monthly utility credit and anything over that (we calculate the gas and electric use for your stay) is deducted from your utility deposit.
We have solar connected to the electricity supply and passive solar for the pool to minimize extra costs.
Payment of 50% secures your booking.

We just had the best stay because of this beautiful home! Every amenity you can think of is here. The most fully stoked kitchen I've stayed in, right down to a juicer. They have really thought of every detail. It's a gorgeous home - with a light, bright open layout, a great big kitchen, beautiful backyard with so many places to sit, layout, dine, chill...perfectly temperatured pool. Big grill. Garage for your car in the heat is awesome. It's in a beautiful neighborhood and 2 minutes from downtown. You absolutely can't go wrong with this home! Thank you andrew!

Thank you for allowing us to rent this roomy wonderful place. The owner andrew was great and very fast in responding to all questions, as the property manager Greg was friendly and helpful showing us where eveything was and being avalaible as needed.
The photos accurately reflected the property and even more impressive in person. It's a big "waouu" when you entered the door!
The property had a great layout,large backyard with grapefruit trees,and amazing pool with spa. Lots of grass and shade to keep you cool. Very private.
The kitchen was really well organized, with everything you need for cooking. Each rooms where decorated with taste. Well maintened property.
The house is in walking distance to downtown, in a very nice part of Palm Springs.
We treated the property like our own and with the respect it deserves. We had a wonderful time staying in this house, and we definitely would stay again.

We recently stayed at andrew Herman's Palm Springs home and had a truly awesome experience. The home is in a great location, close enough to walk to town but surrounded by lovely properties in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The house itself is so cool, decorated perfectly in the retro style you see in the photos. The pool and outdoor area are fabulous, bbq, tons of lounge furniture and a great place to spend a day in the sun. The kitchen is fully stocked for any gourmet cook, all rooms ready for your stay and perfectly outfitted. I can't say enough about this place, we will definately be back.

As a group of 7 young australians travelling to Palm Springs for the first time, we were not sure what to expect.
What we got was stunning weather, and house truly befitting for a movie star-like holiday.
Not only were andrew and Greg overwhelmingly approachable and accommodating, but the house was Pristine, had magnificent views and was in a great location.
We are all still admiring the photos and wishing we were back there... if I am fortunate enough to travel to Palm Springs again, we will most definitely stay here.

I was pretty much wowed from the get go. The living room is enormous, and the decor is stylishly simple. It's a great space to have people round for drinks or dinner. The master suite is generously sized with a separate access to the pool and hot tub. The pool is a good size and it was a fantastic way to start the day by walking out of the bedroom and swimming a few lengths before breakfast. There is a seating area that has a view of the mountains for lazy breakfasts or brunches or drinking a cocktail while watching the light change on the mountains. Good location for town, but quiet too. This is right in the Movie Colony area, and Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh lived just a few doors down!
We really felt at home as soon as we got there. And felt like 'A listers' for the whole of our stay.

We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 older teenagers (16 & 17). The first impression on arriving was fantastic and the house proved to be that for our stay. It is very comfortable and spacious with every amenity you need and plenty of room to find space. The pool is great and large enough to do "proper swimming" in.
We visited in the height of the summer. It was very hot but also quite bearable as the humidity is very low. Of course the house has good a/C if you need to cool off.
One reason we chose this house was its location. It is an easy walk to the main street and to the restaurants and the shops. No need to drive if you want a glass of wine or two! There are many restaurants to choose from and when we were there an excellent and large street market one evening. There is a choice of good supermarkets within a few minutes drive.
We found plenty to do in our time there including going up the mountain in a cable car and taking day trips out into the desert and into Los angeles.
The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the house is truly fabulous and well located. Everything went very smoothly from the booking to being met on arrival.
All in all a great place to stay. -

From the moment I made contact with andrew the service we received was second to none. Every detail is taken care of and all of the check in instructions are crystal clear. All communication was prompt and efficient.
The home exceeded my expectations, so much space and great decor and having a private pool and hot tub was such a luxury. The house is situated within easy reach of everything in the area - easily walkable. Staying at the house makes you feel like you live there as you are able to entertain guests and instantly feel at "home".
If you go to Palm Springs - you have to stay here!

Very well decorated, centrally located and everything you could want in the house. Even grapefruit and lemons growing in the garden! The hot tub and pool were so refreshing and the whole atmosphere was one of total relaxation, thank you.

We rented andrews home for an entire month.Being in the Movie Colony allows you quick access to downtown, outlet malls and all areas of Palm Springs within minutes. Walking distance to downtown, Ruth Hardy park and many other great venues.This home was stocked with more ammenties that I have every seen in a rental. Home is so Movie Colony with a modern flair to it.Wonderfully furnished and remodeled. Pool is very large and fruit trees line the yard. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and have rebooked already for this year.Can't wait to get back.

I rented this house for my birthday last year and was amazed at how beautiful it was. The house is impeccable. The mountain views are stunning. The decor truly makes you feel like you're staying in a movie stars home. The pool and outdoor jacuzzi were great and were used continuously throughout our stay.
The owner provides everything you could possibly need down to the coffee maker, linens, washer and dryer and garage parking. The location is also very central to everything in Palm Springs.
My friends and I never left the house the entire weekend we were here. We are trying to plan another weekend in Palm Springs and will definitely stay here again.Response from andrew herman - 01/03/2012

I've stayed at many vacation rental homes in Palm Springs and this by far is my favorite! The kitchen is well equipped, with details like melanine plates and serving bowls for outdoor dining. The pool area is what makes it for me- the grass is beautiful and soft, and not many rental homes in this area have grass, they have rockscaped yards! The pool is large enough to actually swim laps in, and the hot tub is amazing. more importantly, the patio furniture is comfortable and not metal. Something overlooked by most rental houses, as metal heats up in the desert sun and you burn yourself left and right. The patio furniture is also plush, perfect for an afternoon nap. The other important detail here is the fact that this house has large patio umbrellas- plural- as in more that 1 umbrella. this is paramount, as the sun in palm springs is brutal but with multiple large umbrellas around, you can position them to ensure you're always comfortable by the pool.The outdoor grill is fantastic! the owner of this property thinks of everything for outside entertaining. The entertainment system could use an update - but then i generally don't come here to be inside. the view is amazing and its a perfect property to relax in. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking meals here is a joy. the modern furniture in the living/dining area is classy and great to lounge in. I will definitely be coming here again!!

Group of us girls stayed here for my sister's bachelorette party/weekend, the house was absolutely perfect! Beautiful and clean exactly as pictured, amazing pool, free wifi plus all the amenities you need (fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, bathroom and pool towels). Conveniently located (Trader Joes, Cabazon Outlet, Spas, Casinos etc) are all within driving distance. Owner, Andrew is reponsive and courteous. Highly recommend staying here, we had an amazing time!

We were fortunate to be introduced to andrew's new "reno" in all it's style, taste, and freshness at a time when we were looking to make sustainable winter plans.We had surveyed a number of properties but this home completely met our expectations of enjoying the Palm Springs lifestyle. We are people who enjoy good restaurants and entertainment and interesting downtown community life. All of this is only minutes away and yet within 5 minutes we can open the door to this home,it's comforts, swimming pool, hot tub, lovely yard, and trees hanging with fruit.
We have hosted friends from a kitchen that works and backyard views of the pool and lawns that rival any number of good quality boutique hotels. Our friends have loved their own private"casita" bedroom and bathroom We are always proud to have company and our company are always grateful for spending time at this; our "winter" home.
