“Great cabin” I have stayed at East of Paradise with my family for the past three years and we absolutely love it. It's become our home away from home. The cabin is not big, but it is very well maintained and the set up is perfect for small families like mine. We used to stay at hotels before but nothing compares to keeping everyone all under the same roof and be able to cook homemade meals. My daughter loves to play in the backyard, particularly in the play house. My husband and I love relaxing in the hot tub out back. The beds here are both queen. I have back problems but I always sleep confortably in both of these beds. I do wish the homeowner would offer inflatable beds, or sofa beds for the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils we need to cook meals. My husband and I love cooking and we always take the opportunity here to make a delicious meal whenever we go. We have everything we need there. The cabin is far away enough from the downtown area and all the traffic, but close enough to get to the stores, and the playgrounds within a few minutes. We highly recommend this cabin.

“although our first, THE BEST cabin experience ever!!!” We went for the Labor Day weekend. My boyfriend, sister, 1 year old niece, and a friend couple. First of all we fell in love with the place as soon as we got there. Honestly, we all felt it looked way nicer than the photos we saw! Rich was great as well. When i was searching around to try to book cabins throughout Big Bear Lake, i honesty emailed almost 15 cabins to find out if we can stay for just 1 night, since our schedules only matched to stay Sunday night and leave and get back to LA on Monday. (1 cabin i booked before this one, the site had said it was ok for the 1 night stay and took out my money, but actually received a msg from the owner stating that she does not allow 1 night stays for the holidays. Out of the 15 cabins, only 2 cabins were ok with the 1 night stay.) He was very nice about it and took us in. Not to add, he is super fast on getting back with you. The amenities were all there, although we didn't use any since we brought them thinking it wouldn't be there, the rooms and bathroom, everything was super clean as well! There were an abundant amount of towels for all of us. We were very excited about the hot tub and bbq area as well! It was a very kid-friendly environment as well, as long as you keep an eye on them when going outside where the stairs were. The surrounding neighbors were quiet too, although I guess the house next door was starting construction and started their duties early in the morning. (we didn't mind it too much though.) The cleaning list is very long, so i would strongly suggest to use the option of paying $60 to cover that, which we did so we can relax longer :) Overall, we had the best experience with the beautiful stars at night and great cabin experience!! Thank you Rich!! We will definitely be coming back :)

“Great space for large group” We had a great time in this big home with a large group of ladies for our church women's retreat. It is in a very quite neighborhood and we enjoyed nice walks around the home. There were many beds and space, but for a larger group, people need to be ok with staying on the floor beds or couches in shared spaces. Lots of bedding, very clean, and a fully stocked kitchen. The living room/family room spaces were great for meeting as a group. The Chois were extremely responsive and helpful during the planning and the stay. Overall an extremely relaxing spot with no complaints.

“Wonderful Place” We went as a family in the beginning of summer for a few days away. Everything was as described. The dining area was perfect to fit all of us together for a family dinner. The deck is perfect to sit and relax with a great view of lake. Everything you need for a BBQ was provided. The living room has a large fireplace , which we used even in the summer! The dock was a little bit of a walk, but well worth it. It is right on the lake with a table to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner was very accessible for any questions we had during our stay. Would definitely rent the place again! Very reasonable for a home so close to lake.

“The perfect get away!” We were looking for a place to escape the city and found this perfect cabin in Lake arrowhead. So many places are either very modern (not much of a country feel) or too cabin like (very uncomfortable). This cabin is the best of both worlds. It has all the comforts and space you would want and has an authentic cabin feel to it. Although it is so conveniently located by the village, when you are inside you feel miles away from everything. The bedrooms are a nice size so a whole family can feel they have room without being cramped. Great fireplace, Tv's and cozy furniture to snuggle up with a good book or chat with friends. The area is great with a lot to do. There are nice walks, the lake, boating and heaps of down time. You can easily walk for a bite to eat, get groceries, or just look around a local store. A short drive away is a movie theater and even more stores and restaurants. So look no further, this is the best you will find. I would highly recommend it.

“Pleasant trip.” The home was comfortable for our family of 5. Everything worked as needed and we enjoyed our stay. The weather was very cold during our time there but we were cozy inside...it has a "whole home" heater and the fireplace worked just fine. The home had free wireless internet which was a nice bonus for the kids. We stayed there for Thanksgiving and had no problem cooking and serving our large meal. The kitchen was fully stocked with all standard amenities. We would stay there again.

“Not RIGHT on the lake as photos suggest but cozy and spacious cabin with hot tub and close proximity to Big Bear village” This cabin was very comfortable and cozy and really embodied the "cabin feel." The living room was very spacious and had a large TV that provided access to Netflix and other programs (a big plus). The kitchen was very well stocked with a wide array of kitchenware and grilling tools, which really came in handy for the grill right outside. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (spent many hours here), as we stayed in Big Bear in March and it was quite chilly out. The only problem we had with the house was the fact that the pictures were deceptive in making it appear that the cabin was right on the lake, which was not the case. There was a whole house right in front of us and blocked much of our view of the lake, as well as a long fence that made it impossible for us to even access the lake from our area (we had to walk a few hundred feet down the street to the marina to get to the water). Otherwise, the house was incredibly cozy and accommodating and made for a relaxing three-night stay up in the mountains for our Spring Break.

“Amazing!!” Great place! The board games had us entertained all night! And the Disney movie selections were amazing for movie night. The house was very spacious. And the owner was quick to reply with any questions regarding our stay. Will want to go back maybe in the spring next time.

“Wonderful, Beautiful relaxing, NOSEY NEIGHBOR LADY!” We stayed for 3 nights in late June 2017, The place was perfect. Very relaxing, very clean. and had so many extras at the house that made our trip. THE NEIGHBOR. however....upon arrival she said hello ( with an attitude) but seemed OK. The first night we noticed her looking out her blinds a lot. The second night we caught her hiding behind a tree peeping on us. The third night she actually had the nerve to boldly stand in front of the house and take pics of us with her cell phone. We were sitting on the porch listening to music at a very considerate volume level and eating dinner. She made me so mad I yelled at her and she quickly ran into her house like a coward.I don't know what her problem is but It would be great if management or owner would let her know she can mind her own business. We will be back, hoping she can relax a little. The private dock was great. We took our Kayaks and spent a lot of time fishing there.

“Excellent” When we arrived at the cabin, we were all pleasantly surprised. The cabin was clean, cozy and very spacious. There were 13 of us and there was more than enough room. The large loft space upstairs was an incredible bonus and we fired up the BBQ the first night we were there. Communication with Jim was easy and prompt.i wish we will come back again.it was really nice experience.
