Monchal is a beautiful house located near peaceful Plum Bay. We walked to the beach in 3 minutes. It is private and quiet. Would highly recommend this villa.

My wife and 22 month old loved it!!! It was safe, great amenities, well kept, and refreshing! We loved grilling on the back patio, swimming and tanning at our private pool, and walking to the beach. You will need to use mosquito repellant, but its worth the stay to deal w/ this one drawback. Also, its near a very nice marina, Cupecoy, and not far from anything you'd like to drive to (you'll have to have a rental car) We'll be back!!

Tastefully appointed spot just steps down the road to the beach. Decent value except there is no ocean view. Well secluded in a safe area, but because there is no ocean breeze the bugs can be a little worse than other places we've stayed on the island. We chose to stay in the newly constructed master bedroom that is barely detached from the home. Preferred this more modern guest bedroom to the master bedroom inside the house. Very nice housekeeper that wasn't intrusive, but cleaned up after us 6 days a week. Enjoyed the secluded pool area and deck!

Spent September 28 to October 8 at the Monchal Villa. My wife and I couldn't have had a better time. The accomdation is wonderful and beach is only steps away. We walked the beach every morning and went every night for the sunsets. We are so close to the Dutch side and gambling, great restaurants and sunset beach bar. Equally as close is the French capital of Marigot with it's great restaurants and beautiful harbor.
The owner Pascale and her husband were delightful and helped us with any request we had.
Really nice little house with everything you could think of. The pool is 10 steps from your bedroom and the hot tub is only 5!

It is always at the top of my recommendations for couples wanting a romantic retreat without busting the budget... Pascal will be very pleased as she and her husband work very hard to make sure everything is in perfect working order and fastidiously clean.
