As new owners of this condo, we are excited about sharing our second home! The first time we stayed here, we were awed by how close we were to the to the ocean. The sound of the waves, the gentle caressing warmth of the trade winds, and the sweet smell of the beautiful flowers were so enchanting. As we sat on the lanai, on the ground level, nothing was in the way. The sea turtles popped their heads up as if to welcome us! We fell in love. This feeling continues each time we are here.

It is our goal to make each of our guests feel the same. We have... made our condo comfortable and inviting in the spirit of Aloha. We want you to feel perfectly at home. You are our guests.

The furnishings are new. We made sure that the Hide-a-Bed is comfortable enough for anyone to sleep. The King bed in the bedroom is also extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking-microwave, coffee maker, blender for your island drinks, rice cooker, dishes, pots pans and utensils. There is also a great Weber BBQ on the premises. Each of the floors at Kuhio Shores has washer and dryers for your convenience.

Here, you are at the water’s edge, but the rest of Kauai has so much to offer. Some of the very best snorkeling and diving can be had on either side of Kuhio Shores. Ho'ai Bay just in front, is a favorite of locals and the home to many sea turtles. Behind is Prince Kuhio's birthplace, a sacred heritage site. Lawai Beach, next to the famed Beach House Restaurant is exceptional. Other amazing white sand beaches for surfing, swimming and snorkeling in Poipu area are just minutes away. Old Koloa Town just up the road, is a gem of old Hawaii. Kukui’ ula Shopping Center, with fine dining and shopping, is a short walk away …and then there is the rest of the breathtaking Garden Isle!

This is one of the few true ocean front properties in Poipu.We are a few paces from the ocean's edge. Lawai Beach is 100 yards north. Ho'ai Bay is 10 steps in front. This is where the sea turtles visit. Baby beach is a short walk away-calm and great for the Keiki.
The Beach House restaurant is next door and has some of the best dining in Kauai. Kuui'ula shopping center is 1/2 mile away with several restaurants, shops and a grocery store. You do not need to leave our Condo. Oh, but we suggest you do.

  We really enjoyed our stay in John and Brenda's well-appointed tropical condo. It is a perfect size for two people. We found everything we would need, and more, to enjoy our stay there. We enjoyed watching the turtles in the bay outside our doors, and the view was lovely. When we went for a picnic, we took along the modern beach chairs and the cooler and dined in style! John and Brenda were very helpful, supplying us with ideas of places to visit while we were staying in Poipu, and recommending good places to find food as well as places to eat. The remote beaches were great, and we really enjoyed the our of the nearby McBryde-Allerton Botanical Garden. We hope to be back again soon to stay in the Loudons' tropical home!
