Description
An Cala, "the haven" in Scottish Gaelic, is an ideal place to spend a wee holiday. Situated in the quiet village of Nethy Bridge, the house overlooks the River Nethy and Abernethy Forest. The garden goes all the way down to the river. Herons, salmon, otters, bird watching is ideal from here. An Cala is centrally located, and is a good place to explore the whole of Scotland from. Quiet road biking, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, the malt whisky trail, bird watching, dolphin watching on the Moray coast, are all within a 30 minute drive from An Cala. Coming home to An Cala at the end of the day and sitting by the log fire, or having a BBQ and a hot tub in the private garden, is perfect for peace and relaxation.

“Fantastic for all of us”
Super spacious, really well laid out and well equipped for our party of nine that ranged in ages from teens to late 70’s. Lots to do in and around the area and when not out and about a fantastic base to relax with the added bonus of the hot tub. One of the best we have stayed in.

“Nethy bridge shirt break”
Fantastic lodge fully equipped - my family has a wonderful time - lovely local walks - hot tub at lodge so relaxing - cafe in Nethy bridge well worth a visit - brownies are so tasty 1 Lara the owner very welcoming ! Would definitely recommend booking - Nethy bridge hope to see you again Lorraine
