Lochleven Seafood Cottage

“A holiday to remember!” We came to stay in Lochleven Seafood Cottage in april. There were ten of us staying, and we all instantly fell in love with the cottage as soon as we stepped inside. It was really clean and tidy, and well kept. The views of the loch were outstanding from the living room, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The cottage was very well equipped, so there's no need to bring anything extra. The location of the cottage is also ideal, about twenty minute's drive from Glencoe and Fort William. We were able to travel to somewhere different everyday, but also enjoy some lovely walks and mountain treks just outside the cottage. The service for the cottage was also incredible - I texted the supervisors about a blocked drain and they instantly sent someone within the same morning. All in all a great holiday!

“A travel gem - only for sharing with your best friends!” There's a reason we keep coming back to Corriechoille and the Cabins - it's a view you will never get tired of. Justin and Lucy have a provided a fabulous escape, the cabins are always spotless, warm and welcoming. Corriechoille is the perfect location to experience the Highlands, whether you want to walk or cycle straight from the door, explore by car/train or just sit outside the cabin, read and soak up the silence in the shadow of the mountains.

Mill Cottage - Fort William - Scotland

Fort William cottage

5 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 12

“Lovely cottage, fantastic location” I stayed at Mill Cottage with a group of friends in June. The cottage was cosy and welcoming and easily accommodated our group of 8 plus dog. The cottage is in a quiet, private area but is only a 10 minute drive from Fort William; a great base for hill walking or activity holidays. I would definitely book the cottage again.

Little Oaks
Stylish apartment, fully equipped!

The location is stunning, overlooking the Ben Nevis. It's a short distance to Fort William and all the beautiful places in this area. This is a lovely place to relax after a day out. We totally agree with the previous reviews, we immediately felt at home! Kate did everything to make us feel comfortable. Her homemade cake was delicious! It was nice to stay in such a luxurious apartment. We would love to come back to Little Oaks and enjoy the Scottish Highlands again!see more

MARYS HOUSE, pet friendly cottage close to sandy beach, sea views, woodburner
A fairy tale location

Staying at Marys House was a truly unique experience that we will remember for many years. I never realised that such remote locations existed in our crowded country anymore and with the sea and beautiful sandy beach within a stone throw from the house, you simply could not envisage a more tranquil picture postcard spot. Marys House is well furnished, clean and has everything you need for your visit and is ideally situated for a relaxing/walking holiday while the tiny village of Kilchoan, which is about 4 miles away has a good pub and well stocked shop. The village is so remote it really is like stepping back in to the 1950,s and if you need petrol, someone from the village shop even comes along to operate the pump for you. The ferry to the island of Mull also leaves from Kilchoan, were you can visit the now famous town of Tobermory, which is better known as Balamory in the childrens TV series and believe me it really is worth a visit. The nearby lighthouse is also a good attraction as is the fabulous beach at Sanna Bay, a few miles away. The only downside is the road that takes you to Kilchoan. For 20 miles it is a single track road with passing points scattered along the way to allow oncoming traffic to pass and it is an arduous drive. The road from Kilchoan to Marys House is also little more than a track and seems to go on forever, but dont let this put you off. It guarantees the remoteness of the place and many of the villagers prefer it to stay like that, although for those who have to commute to work, it must be a nightmare.see more
Mill Cottage - Fort William - Scotland
Relaxing

Just returned from a weeks stay at Mill Cottage.........10 of us plus a dog. Plenty of rooms for us all to spread out. A fab utility where I got all my washing dry. There is free internet which was a bonus for the two younger members of the family (12 and 9). It isn't posh but it's homely......I hope you don't mind Pete but I re arranged the china cabinet and put a lovely vase of flowers in the dining room which I found hiding near the front door......it's the interior decorator in me. There is so much to do and see......Fort William is a lovely place and there is a great drive to Mallaig. We were so lucky with the weather, and everything looks better when the sun shines but I think Mill Cottage and the surrounding area would look lovely whatever the weather. Will we return? I don't know, but if we do then I wouldn't hesitate to book Mill Cottage again......see more

Beautiful setting and great property

We stayed for a long weekend with family in March, there were 6 or us but the property is more than spacious enough to accomodate 8 easily. Everything was well looked after, clean and well stocked, plus arrival and departure arrangements were very easy. The setting was extremely pretty with views over the Loch and access into Fort William & ~Ben Nevis was nice and easy too. I would really recommend this cottage as a great place to stay and will definitely return if we come again.see more
