“Beautiful setting and great property”
We stayed for a long weekend with family in March, there were 6 or us but the property is more than spacious enough to accomodate 8 easily. Everything was well looked after, clean and well stocked, plus arrival and departure arrangements were very easy. The setting was extremely pretty with views over the Loch and access into Fort William & ~Ben Nevis was nice and easy too. I would really recommend this cottage as a great place to stay and will definitely return if we come again.
“Great location, house has everything you need.”
Excellent spot on the loch. Much quieter than I expected with hardly any traffic on the road at all. Excellent seafood restaurant and shop right next door. Kinlochleven and Glencoe have plenty of shops and activities for all (try the climbing walls at Ice Factor or the Segway experience at Glencoe golf course).
“A holiday to remember!”
We came to stay in Lochleven Seafood Cottage in april. There were ten of us staying, and we all instantly fell in love with the cottage as soon as we stepped inside. It was really clean and tidy, and well kept. The views of the loch were outstanding from the living room, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The cottage was very well equipped, so there's no need to bring anything extra. The location of the cottage is also ideal, about twenty minute's drive from Glencoe and Fort William. We were able to travel to somewhere different everyday, but also enjoy some lovely walks and mountain treks just outside the cottage. The service for the cottage was also incredible - I texted the supervisors about a blocked drain and they instantly sent someone within the same morning. All in all a great holiday!
The service was wonderful. The home has everything you need. It is very comfortable and the location is beautiful. The chimeney gives a perfect and relax ambience.
“Great cottage in beautiful environment”
What a great place to stay in the middle of nature and nearby the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Numerous hikes and daytrips in the area, a beautiful loch at the doorstep and all facilities you can wish are in the cottage itself available. Not to forget the lochleven fish restaurant as neighbour. Higly recommendable.
The cottage was well equiped. The views are beautifull and there are a lot of interesting things to see and do within a short distance. The food nextdoor was extremely good. The restaurant could only use a bit of music and less lights.
A totally restful week in a stunning location with amazing views. Easily sleeping six adults and 2 children. Next door the seafood shop and restaurant gave an added bonus. We've already booked for next year.
“Beautiful Location - Amazing Scallops”
The cottage is in a stunning location and handily right next door to a seafood restaurant. There is plenty of room for 8 people; with 9 or 10 people the lounge becomes another bedroom which makes it feel a bit more compact. The rooms are all of a good size and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms are really clean and nicely furnished with good hot showers - perfect after a day on the hills. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery, glasses and pots and pans. There is a good sized dining table which all 9 of us managed to sit around. The wood burning stove was a nice touch making the lounge feel warm and comfortable. There is plenty of parking (we had 4 cars between us) and if the weather had been better I'm sure we'd have sat out on the decking, or the lawn. All in all a lovely place to stay. The only downside for us was the lack of a drying room for our wet gear after a day on the hills.
“Perfect location for holiday”
Clean, modern, comfortable and with lots of useful features Seafood cottage was a great place to stay for our annual walking holiday. As a men-only group the twin bedroom layout was perfect for our sleeping requirements. Great views from the property and with the restaurant literally next door an all-round fantastic place to stay. The only thing we missed was a drying room / area for all those wet clothes after a day on the hills, but you can't have everything.
“All needs fulfilled”
