Description
This is the place for a perfect family or group holiday exploring Wanganui and New Zealand's North Island.
Abercroft House is thirty minutes walk through the Kowhai Park from Wanganui Town Centre. Its a turn of the century manor house, set on three quarters of an acre of lawned gardens surrounded by trees.
This is Wanganui's finest holiday apartment accommodation with beautifully renovated interior features polished floorboards and high ceilings.
Guests enjoy their own entry and ample doorstep parking.
There is seating in the garden and you can enjoy a pleasant game of bowls or simply relax after exploring Wanganui and the surrounding area.
The Guest accommodation is a self sufficient apartment sleeping up to eight in comfort. It has a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Children are welcome and there is an outdoor area for smokers.
Abercroft House is just five minutes drive from the bus station and ten minutes to the airport.
Abercroft House is open to guests all year round but you will need to book early to avoid disappointment. We have a fixed rate all year round too.
For stays of up to 6 nights we charge NZ$130 per night for two people plus $20 per extra person.
For stays of over 6 nights booked in advance contact the owner for rates.
Additional discounts may apply for longer stays.
The apartment is self contained and well provisioned in everything except food and drink (although we do supply tea and coffee).
