Summerland Cottage is the perfect refuge,
a great place for artists to relax and be inspired
a writers retreat
or romantic getaway.
It is a historic cottage sitting high on a bluff overlooking the sparkling Pacific ocean.
It is newly refurbished throughout and well appointed.
The private brick courtyard with peekaboo ocean view makes this historic cottage a charmer.
Summerland Cottage is located in desirable North Laguna Beach,
just steps to the ocean (less than half a block).
Walk to secluded Fisherman's Cove in minutes and enjoy the sand and surf, or kayaking, snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler are all provided for your summer enjoyment.
Enjoy Spectacular Views overlooking the Pacific Ocean as you walk through Heisler Park to reach Downtown Laguna.
The quaint town is filled with famous restaurants, art galleries, and charming shops.
During the summer months the Sawdust Festival, Laguna Art Festival and the Pageant of the Masters with its outdoors performances are a free trolley ride from the cottage.
A little history on the cottage... fun little facts that you may want to know...
At one time, many years ago, a famous cowboy actor named Tom Mix lived here.
More recently the Tony award-winning producer Steve Orich and his wife Judy have stayed for a respite.
And last year Andrew Mc Mahon the singer and songwriter stayed here several times
( with his beautiful wife Kelly and sweet dog Doris Day )
Creating new songs for a CD being released later this year.

“Such great value in the perfect location!”
This AirBnb was in such a perfect location between the beaches, local restaurants & bars. The host was super thoughtful & nice. Would recommend 100 times over. Got way more than we paid for.
