Description

Nutcrackers Lodge is a modern farm style cottage on the outskirt of town. 3 mins to bandy creek and 7 minutes to town central, Nutcrackers Lodge is nestled between trees full of native birds and with kangaroos among the area. It overlooks paddocks with sheep, cows and chooks roaming freely. It has 3 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 9 people including 2 queen sizes beds, 3 singles plus sofa bed in back room. The living area includes a big screen TV and playstation which can also be used as a dvd player, 3 piece lounge suite and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The dining area/kitchen provides full cooking facilities, cutlery and crockery, fridge/freezer and a microwave, breafast bar and dining table. The laundry has a washing machine and a trough. The house has verandahs all round and the backyard is fully fenced off and has a clothesline. Theres an outdoor table with a barbecue and table tennis.

Strictly no smoking on the property. No pets.

“Nice farm stay”

Very friendly animals, photogenic cows, goats, emu etc. nice free fresh eggs daily. Place is very clean and easy to get too. Excellent for family with young children. Good cooking facilities.

Response from the owner Thankyou for your stay, Apologies of the confusion of the 3rd bedroom as we didn't expect a 2yo to have a queen size bed on her own in a separate room, we generally have bedding ready for the next customer so if not used/ needed we shut the door. We are still learning the ways but its actually the first time this situation has happened so will take the advice and be prepared for all occasion's in the future. Please include though, that it was only locked on arrival and after contacting us we ensured the 3rd bedroom was ready to use straight away so your child could sleep separately?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Shane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
