Description

Our Original restored Palmer+Kriesel designed Alexander mid century sits on 11000 square foot lot on a cul-de-sac and was featured in the New York Times 'Home section' entitled 'Desert Cool'. Inside, you'll find classic modern treatments such as Eames tables and chairs, Case Study beds in both bedrooms, mixed with completely renovated bathrooms and kitchen with everything you’ll need. High vaulted ceilings and refinished flat cement flooring throughout with Design-Within-Reach throw rugs and FLOR tiles. (City of Palm Springs ID #: 770)

The Living Room features Hi-Definition DirectTv with movie channels (HBO and SHOWTIME), Apple Tv, and a SONOS sound system. The master bedroom also features a wood burning fireplace. Wall-to-wall sliding glass doors open to a kidney shaped pool, surrounded by palm and olive trees. There's even a private outdoor lounging/eating covered patio, framed by Frosted resin panels. 2 separate in-ground gas fire pits, one by the pool and living area, and the other by the hot tub, provide some privacy even when together on the property.

While we're new to this service as of December '16, we have been renting for five years with over 50 5-star reviews via other rental platforms.

Recently we’ve upgraded the house with new pool loungers from Design-Within-Reach, re-plastered the pool including new imported tile from Japan, upgraded the TV to a new 50” LED Sony, and added new LG Washer/Dryers. The kitchen has also been updated with new Bosch appliances, and we feature All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans. In 2014, we upgraded the hot tub to a Hot Spring Spa with Moto-Massage® jets, complemented by a Quartet® jet system, to soothe your neck, shoulders and back. Its comfortable seating, styled armrests, and SoothingStream® water feature provide maximum relaxation.

The 4-ton air conditioner is also brand new as of Sept '15, and controlled by the Nest Thermostat.

Early check-in and late check-out are possible, just ask.

Pool can be heated (most people choose to heat the pool), which is charged at $45 a night (about what SoCal Gas charges me). Spa is heated for free.

THREE LOUNGING AREAS : Additionally, a third seclusive lounging area off the middle bedroom (away from the other areas) by the hot tub features two Brown and Jordan chairs and a lounger. Overall - magical and relaxing...

COMPLETE PRIVACY: The house is located on one of the larger lots in the Racquet Club Estates and is completely enclosed and private (backyard, pool ,spa, lounging areas).

Just one block away is a large grassy park with trees and benches, etc.

Located about 15 minutes from the airport, and less than five minutes from the center of Palm Springs center of restaurants, shops, and attractions.
