Thank you for highlighting your concerns about the locks on the gate. The top and bottom locks are only optional extras for guests to use if they choose. We suggest to our guests not use if they are unable to reach them. The Balinese timber door gates do expand and contract in the weather being exposed to the elements, we cannot control this.
