Description

This newly refurbished 3 bedroom cottage has two double rooms one of which is an ensuite and a large family room with a double and single bed. There is another larger shower room and toilet near the family room with an electric shower. Towels and linen are provided. There is a very spacious open plan living, dining and full kitchen area with everything you need to create a good homemade meal if you dont feel like eating out every night in the local restaurants. The open fire is lit by the host before guests arrive creating an immediate feeling of cosy country living. The cottage is totally safe and quiet with plenty of parking there are few neighbours so there is just the sounds of birds and sometimes churchbells can be heard faintly from the local town of Moville. The town is on the famous Wild Atlantic way Route.

Cooley Cottage is excellently located to ensure our guests can experience a variety of different activities and amenities by car. From Moville Town you can access taxes & busses which travel as far as Co Dublin. The nearest Airport in Eglinton Derry/Londonderry. The nearest train station is in Derry/Londonderry.

Interaction with guest

We meet and greet guests on arrival and show them round the cottage. We inform guests of activities in the area of interest. There is an information folder in the cottage with leaflets on activities and important phone numbers. As we live next door to the cottage guests can contact us easily if they need anything.

The cottage is very comfortable and the views from the windows are amazing especially at sunset the outside area is really private we had a small issue with heating but the owner sorted it immediately

“Great views”

We found the cottage to be clean and comfortable and it was perfect for two couples with the living space in the middle and the bedrooms either side. It had everything you needed to relax after a day exploring the area. We cooked most evenings and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage is easy to find and has amazing views across the water to Northern Ireland. It is perfectly situated to explore the area with Greencastle ferry just a 10 minute drive. Communication with the owner Philomena was great and although we didn’t meet her, Patrick her husband called round one evening to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all this lovely cottage was perfect for our first trip to Ireland.
