The cottage is located five minutes from the heritage village of Ramelton and contains all modern facilities while retaining its old world atmosphere.The large living room in the cottage with a wood burning stove / open fireplace, perfect for relaxing around after a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside, a game of golf at one of the many nearby links courses or any of the many other various activities on offer locally.

Ramelton is located 7 miles north of Letterkenny at the mouth of the River Leannan, famed for it's superb salmon fishing.
The Old Meeting House where the County Genealogical Centre is located is one of the oldest Presbyterian churches in Ireland. With over 4 million people owing their ancestry to Donegal, the Genealogical Centre is a must for those trying to trace their elusive ancestors. Killydonnell Abbey, founded by the O'Donnells in the 16th century, is a few miles from the village.
The village also has a lively music scene centred on the Bridge Bar - a great place to spend an evening.
