Town: The village of St Keverne lies on the eastern side of The Lizard Peninsula just 1.25 miles inland with its village pubs and shops surrounding the village square, and an impressive church spire, at one time used to guide the Cornish fishermen home. From St Keverne you can explore the spectacular beauty of the Lizard Peninsula by car, bicycle or on foot. You will find tiny secret coves, sandy bays and dramatic cliff walks along the South West Coastal path. Just north is the Helford River, a yachtsman's dream and home to Frenchman's Creek, and picturesque Helford village. Further afield visit Falmouth with one of the largest natural harbours, Pendennis Castle built by Henry VIII, and of course you cannot miss out on a trip to The National Maritime Museum.Read more

Lovely little cottage situated down short lane so well away from road noise. Large garden with access to open fields and footpath. Equipped to good standard and had everything we required for our stay. The owner made herself available if required but left us to our own devices. Would recommend.

This charming cottage is comfortable and very well placed for exploring the Lizard. The owner is helpful and it's good to have access to the garden and parking for the car.
Local walks are interesting and it's easy to walk to St Keverne, where the ice-cream factory is welcoming.
We were unfortunate to spend some time there in cold (tho' clear) weather, and the heating in the cottage was very effective.
Very much to be recommended.

We were greeted warmly but left to browse at our leisure. The owner was on hand for any questions at all times. This was a very comfortable cottage with plenty of warm furnishings. We loved the location, allowing us peace and quiet and long walks, but close enough to pop out for the occasional pastie! We will definitely be returning soon.
Had a brilliant week at the Longhouse, the cottage was exactly as described and situated in the perfect area for both a relaxing or an active holiday. Would recommend to friends and family and will definitely return!
