We are located on Howe Point along the north-eastern coastline of the island in a private, remote area, entirely removed from noise and traffic, where seals can often be seen sunning themselves on the sand bars and bald eagles soar or dive for fish right in front of you! Yet, we are only ten minutes from the harbour town of Souris (hospital, post office, banking, groceries, liquor store, shopping...) and twenty minutes from Montague, the other main commercial centre for Eastern P.E.I. Fine dining can be enjoyed within five minutes of our location. The dunes of Greenwich National Park are a mere 15 minutes away and championship golf courses lay within a 30 minutes drive!

• H.S.T. (14%) becomes effective on P.E.I. as of April 1st, 2013.
• We are licensed and certified by P.E.I. Tourism.
• No extra-fees for cleaning nor security deposit.
• Reservations: We require a booking deposit representing one-third of the total rental fees before we mail our confirmation for the time period along with maps, directions and other information. Deposit is refundable when cancellation is received before the end of January the year of your planned holiday. The deposit will also be refunded after that date when property is re-booked. (Cancellation fee of $100.00 will apply in both instances.) Reservation dates can be changed at no charge at anytime depending upon availability.

The house was beautiful. We had a group of 7 adults and 3 kid (age 8, 3 and 10 months) and the house was perfect for our group. The house was equipped with everything that you could possibly need. I would love to go back at a different time of year as the tourist places were all closed by the time we got there and it was too cold to really enjoy the water just out the door!

I don't know where to begin telling you about the wonderful and luxurious stay we had at the Howe Bay Beach House. I could mention the absolutely gorgeous home with lots of space (including a fabulous shower) and every amenity that a person who loves to cook could want. I could talk about the immaculate garden that opens up to a staircase leading to a virtually private beach. I could refer to the screened-in porch where we spent countless hours playing board games, reading, writing and enjoying talking with each other. I could discuss the deck that provided an oasis to lounge and enjoy meals. I could definitely say that we sometimes got lost in the beauty around us, as we admired the vistas and sunsets. I could even refer to the bonfire pit in the garden where we roasted marshmallows, told stories and laughed. I could tell you about the canoe rides we took, discussing the life we were lucky to observe in the clear water. Or I could mention the expanses of grass our children took full advantage of to do cartwheels and explore. I could tell you all of these things, and that we have already booked to return again next year. And they would all be absolutely true and impossible to prioritize as we reflect upon the incredibly relaxing time we shared together at the Howe Bay Beach House. It is a truly special place for us, and no doubt would be for you too.

This is a beautifull property at a wonderful location. We stayed with 5 adults and 5 childres and loved it. There is plenty of space with fantastic views. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay for 3 days. We would have loved to stay longer.

Our girls golf group has been coming to Howe Bay every year for 10 years now. We love to golf PEI and staying at Howe Bay Beach House gives us luxury accommodations in the most tranquil setting. Nothing could be more relaxing than sitting on the porch, looking out at the ocean and hearing nothing other than your own conversations. The Keelers are simply the best hosts.

Our second stay at the Howe Bay cottages. The best place in Canada to put your feet up and enjoy the tide coming in and going out . We certainly hope to get back again. October is to late to visit as many business had shut down for the winter

I hardly know where to begin. The Beach House exceeded our expectations on every level. The house was beautifully decorated and so well laid out. We had 4 adults, 5 kids and 4 dogs, yet somehow the Beach House held us all comfortably! Despite the electronic distractions available (big screen sat TV and wireless internet) the real star is the location. Secluded doesn't really do this place justice. Its at the end of a long driveway, at the end of a private lane, off a dead end road off a secondary highway in eastern PEI. We heard 1 vehicle go by during the week we were there! even our oldest teenage daughter (jaded technophile that she is) was completely smitten! from the time we arrived almost every moment was spent on the beach or in the water. We reservered the house for 2011 before leaving in 2010, and a good thing as it was booking fast!
We live on PEI so we are no strangers to beautiful seaside scenery but wow was this place stunningly beautiful!
If you are looking for Disney World this isn't for you, If you want peace, tranquility, and a touch of luxury then this should be on your must visit list.
Would I change anything? Well, I would have liked a slightly larger dining area but that really is being picky, and we were a very large group.
Now that the secret is out I only hope we can find a week free for us to return every year!
