The perfect "couples villa"!! This stunning 2-bedroom contemporary villa is the perfect hideaway for two couples or a small family. The stylish grand entrance creates a dramatic stage for a breathtaking sea view - sunsets are pure magic.
The grand living room is open, airy with an opulent contemporary attitude and fully air conditioned. Floor to ceiling doors disappear into the wall providing unobstructed views and breezes. Sand color travertine tiles flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors. Gorgeous designer furniture detailed in beautiful dark woods, comfortable upholstered seating and tasteful art create a relaxing interior lounging area. The color scheme is relaxing in cream, off white and taupe.
The sleek and stylish open plan kitchen is open to the view and the exterior dining room, while the BBQ is adjacent to the kitchen. Throughout the villa, pots filled with tropical plants dot the terraces creating a Feng shui attitude.
The two very large and equal size bedrooms are places of relaxing solitude furnished in cream bedding, beautiful fabrics, soft sand polished travertine tiles and beautifully inlaid woods.
The spa style bathrooms are simply gorgeous, each one in unique combination of luxe woods, travertine and stainless fixtures. Both have oversized walk-in showers.
The villa has a very open indoor, outdoor floor plan with an expansive deck surrounding a large, very private pool. The covered portion of the deck and the gazebo offer plenty of comfortable furnishings and chaise lounges for sunbathing. Off to the side of the deck is a Jacuzzi and a workout area with a bench press and free weights for those who enjoy keeping in shape while on a relaxing vacation.
Although secluded, you are close to amenities. It is a short 3-minute drive to Baie Longue Beach. You are 2 minutes to the grocery at Puerto Cupecoy and another five minutes to the airport. In 10 minutes, you reach the charming French capital of Marigot with restaurants, shops, historic buildings and the Creole Market. Drive 25 minutes to Grand Case or Philipsburg’s shopping haven.

“Left Me Disappointed”
No air-airconditioning in living room. 2 bedrooms and kitchen are not accessed from living room. In other words, the house is not really a house. Once you walk thru the living room you are outside wh… More

Response from the manager We at St Martin Reservation Center are very sorry this guest did not enjoy their stay at Villa Bamboo. Please note, however, that we do not know who booked this guest in this villa. She DID NOT book Villa Bamboo through St Martin Reservation Center. Had she done so we would have clearly explained the open floor plan and lay out of this villa and that only the bedrooms are air-conditioned... I spoke to the management company responsible for the villa and was told the following regarding this booking... 1) The guests were all adults – no children. 2) Mosquito candles and a cooler were both delivered to the villa same evening they were requested. 3) Even though the villa has never had umbrellas, new ones were bought and delivered to the villa just for this guest. 4) They never received any other calls about any issues complaints (they did call for concierge services) and feel all issues were resolved as they were made aware of them. I’m not excusing anyone here, and we are always disappointed when any guest has a bad experience in a St Martin villa, but I feel it fair to this villa owner to respond to this review. I hope all future visits by this guest to St Martin are more than wonderful...
