The Quinta Amada is a small, family-run Bed and Breakfast nestled in the hills of historic Tlaxcala, a safe, tranquil area just 75 miles from Mexico City. We have three bright, spacious rooms for rent, each with full tiled bath, a sitting area, and a desk. Our Mexican country villa offers all the charm of traditional Mexico with the modern comforts of home. We are happy to rent you one room or the entire second story of our home (private entrance to all guest rooms). OUR RATES ARE BASED ON TWO PERSONS IN ONE ROOM OF OUR THREE ROOMS. A full breakfast is included in the price. Enjoy our guest lounge and kitchenette, wireless Internet, extensive grounds, secure parking, and panoramic views of three majestic volcanoes.

We are on the outskirts of the small capital city, Tlaxcala, with its rich history, colonial charm, diverse museums, lovely plazas, cozy coffee shops and cafés, and many colorful fairs and festivals. The ancient archeological zones of Cacaxtla and Xochitecatl are nearby--so close you can even see the Pyramid of the Flowers from our terrace! Your resident bilingual hosts, Sharon and Jaime Sanchez, are dedicated to giving you warm personal care and attention, while you enjoy the privacy afforded by a separate entrance to your own room. We are happy to provide you with local tourist and cultural information, and take you on local tours and day trips.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sharon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
