Description from the owner
The Red Y Pink gite has one bedroom with a double bed. It has a wetroom joined to the bedroom. The kitchen and sitting room is open plan. The whole gite is a mix of old and new. There is English and French TV. The gite over looks the rolling countryside of the Haute Garonne. It has its own raised terrace for eating outside. The pool is used only by the guests staying in the gites.

Chateau de Montoussel is approx 56km from Toulouse airport and 74km from Carcassonne airport.
The gites at Chateau de Montoussel are located only 20km from the local town of Revel where you can visit the highly acclaimed market on Saturday mornings.
The closest ski resorts are only 50km away and the nearest coastal town is Narbonne which is 130km away.
Also close by is the lake at Saint-Ferreol. Built in the 17th century this is the main reservoir for the Canal de Midi where you can windsurf, sail and canoe. There are many good restaurants located here to complete your day out by the lake which is only 23km from the gites.
The gites are situated close to many towns and attractions that are easy to reach by car or bicycle.

For all out-of-season rentals we can be flexible however there is a minimum rental of two days.
Heating: extra charges for heating may apply in the cooler months.
Babysitting:
We can organise this for you with 24 hours notice and is charged at 10 Euros per hour.
Cot beds: A cot can be hired with linen for 20 Euros per week.
Cleaning: Gîtes can be cleaned during the week on request. Red Y Pink Gîte per clean 30 Euros. Hopkins Gîte per clean 40 Euros. Mutley Gîte per clean 40 Euros. Extra Towels.
The gîte should be left in the same condition it was found in.

My husband and I stayed at the gite for a week in September. We wanted a relaxing place to get away from it all and this certainly delivered. The gite had all the amenities we needed and was beautifully fitted out and Will and Karen were perfect hosts. The gite is wonderfully located in gorgeous French countryside and gave us plenty of opportunity to stop and do nothing in lovely surroundings. That said its well located when you do want to venture further afield. I'm sure we'll return soon.

The apartment is so fantastic and exactly what we needed from the hustle and bustle of London life! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a retreat. The private BBQ outside your gites was a lovely part of our routine when returning from swimming in the Saint Ferroel lake..

I had the pleasure of staying in the Red Y Pink Gîte for a short stay this Summer. Wonderful place owned and run by a super friendly family who went out of there way to look after me during my stay. The location is stunning and the Gîte itself is luxurious and private, it even had British digital tv which was an unexpected treat, not that you'd have any-time to watch tv with so much breathtaking countryside to explore. Great for walks and cycling. I whole-heatedly recommend the Chateau de Montoussel, a real gem and one nicest place I've stayed in a very long time.

What a find! We changed our plans and booked this gite last minute and we were so glad we did. It was spacious, chic and well equipped with stunning views across the french countryside and a private decking area from which to soak up the surroundings. The owners were extremely welcoming and generous and provided us with a cot for our one year old. Highly recommended!

I've rent this gite for 2 week during my holiday. All was perfect : very calm, very nice, very symphatic people.
