Apartment Peregrine In Abruzzo, in the green heart of Majella National Park at 800 metres above sea level, just 40 km from Pescara and 4 miles from Abbateggio, set in the scenery of the Giumentina Valley, Palaeolithic archaeological site, you will find yourself on a journey between nature, culture and history.
Catalan House is a Country House, but is also our dream where our passion is finally with everyday life. The care of the forest, a small orchard and garden committed our days, together with the hospitality of people always different but United by love for the tranquility of these lands and for the flavors intact mountain life. We are always happy whenever a guest there confesses to feeling at home, because we know that in those words there is the ultimate sense of what we have always wanted.
The residence is located near the Giumentina Valley, a place of important paleontological findings, with its characteristic tholos construction dry stone; The Giumentina Valley is a closed world in itself, to discover a little at a time, without haste, alternating baths and monuments, snacks and photographic destinations, hiking or biking. Understood as a place of mind, the Giumentina Valley is a lost opportunity; Caramanico Terme Centre, known for its healing thermal waters, recommended especially for respiratory diseases, with a beautiful Romanesque church in the hamlet of St. Thomas; the castello dei Baroni di Genova, not far from the village of Salle, the spectacular Valley of Orta, particularly geological deeply recessed and its white rocks among which precipitate rough the waters of the river; il borgo di San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore with its already belonged to the Farnese Castle and the Church of San Valentino and Damian, built to a design of Vanvitelli; the torrent Lavino River Park, with its ponds, the hermitages around Celestinian turchini, the abbeys of Castiglione a Casauria, Manoppello with the Volto Santo and Santa Maria Arabona.
