Description

At the "Maison de Famille", in the ancient village of Acerenza, away from worldliness and nightlife, you can stay in complete freedom and relaxation in a cozy, tasteful rooms, which combine the unique allure of the house for a time, the convenience and comfort of today. The "Green Suite" of the "Maison de Famille" can accommodate up to 4 people. Recently restored by recovering the original materials, the house, with vaulted ceilings and terrazzo floors to green inlays, it is fully furnished, partly with antique family furniture. It offers a comfortable living-dining area with flat-screen TVs, small kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one to a large attic area which is accessed from the entrance, with double French double. Guests bedding and kitchen, bath towels, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries, espresso machine in the kitchen. The country, known as Horace "Eagle's Nest", is 800 mt. on a tuff hill overlooking the Alta Valle of Bradano and still has intact today its urban layout of a fortified medieval town, with quaint streets and squares who crowd around the majestic Cathedral of Romanesque-Cluniac eleventh century style, the most important of southern Italy.
