This is a well-equipped property in an excellent location. Based on an established Urbanisation (built in 2006), this property offers comfort and value.

It has been maintained to a high standard and enhanced so that it can be fully utilised. Whether you want a week or two in the summer or looking for a longer break and get a bit of Autumn / Winter / Spring sun, this property suits everyone, whether you are just a couple, a family or maybe a couple of families.

This is a residential area and so ideally suited to people who want a peaceful, relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle.

Rates do not include cost of being met at the property by our key-holders or the post-rental clean; this charge is 70 € payable on arrival (based on up to 4 people, if 5/6 then it is 80 €).

If you are due to arrive at / vacate between the hours of 23:00 and 08:00 there may be an charge to reflect the unsociable hours our key-holders will have to meet you but we will advise prior to booking if this will be the case.

Welcome packs can be arranged for guests arriving late providing essential supplies until they can get to a shop.

The property is spacious and versatile - whether you are a larger group or just a couple, you will appreciate the space the apartment offers. If you want a quiet night in, you can watch your favourite UK channels, watch a DVD having maybe cooked a meal in the well-equipped kitchen. The two bathrooms are a godsend for larger groups, no queuing!

The enclosed terrace is also brilliant - you can feel like your outside but be inside. Whether you want to eat on the terrace, or maybe sit out there and read a book or listen to some music, this is an area of the apartment that can now be used all year round no matter the weather.

Further details outdoors

The well-equipped roof solarium is everyone's favourite bit of the apartment - it offers so much space, excellent views and privacy. Recliners are provided as is dining set should you want to have a bite to eat outside.

In the warmer months this is inevitably where most people spend their time and if you have small children you can also use the paddling pool to keep them cool.

New for 2024 we have installed a wooden pergola which allows Guests to get some respite from the sunshine or simply provides a dedicated space to eat/drink out of the direct sunlight.

While we recommend a car, it depends how you plan to spend your time here. If you want to explore the area then a car is easiest but you can easily use taxis and the area is on a local bus route.

As the Property Owner I will deal with your enquiry and liaise with you up until you are due to arrive. I have been renting out our property for many years and so have answers to the majority of questions you may have. I will also ensure you have everything in order to locate the property - we haven't lost anyone yet - and also ensure you know how to contact our key-holder for them to meet you on arrival. While at the property the key-holder is your main contact but I am only ever a call / message away if needed. Afterwards I will then be in touch to get your feedback.

The apartment was excellent. It met all our needs. It is perfectly located for most amenities in the area. A rental car is highly recommended if you want to explore the area. Will definitely book again in the future.

“Not Happy”

We selected this apartment without knowing almost anything about Torrevieja / Orihuela area after staying already several winters in other areas of Spain. Our main wishes for the two weeks were a quiet location with a decent parking place because we came by car and our wish was to explore the surroundings (these ok). And we selected the apartment basing to the good previous reviews (with which we cannot agree at all). We could estimate the apartment clearly below average basing to our previous apartments we have stayed in Spain or in many other countries. However, this may be about the average in this area, because there are so many similar apartments in rows around the area. The apartment was almost as in pictures. In my review there are no points given to the area or surroundings, because you should know where to come. (If reviewed the area within two kilometres, tidiness of streets or views in general, the points would be zero.) Additionally, for example the coffee maker, toaster, oven, most of the dishes (as result of missing washing machine for dishes and maybe of busy previous quests), kitchen cabinets, blankets were so dirty, that we immediately wanted to depart (and we could not even use all those at all!). No table at all inside to dine, outside and upper floor was too windy and chilly this time for us. Anyway after purchasing new blankets and some bed sheets and frying pan and after washing the dishes we used as well as somehow cleaning the fridge for using and hovering, we decided to stay. I claimed about the main issues with photos to Ian during the day we arrived. I will not let the dirtiness have an impact to my review points, because Ian promised to arrange a deep cleaning already during our stay (our wish was to postpone the cleaning). Ian anyway replied almost immediately to our questions then and during all the renting process, and he sincerely wanted to arrange the cleaning.

I think it is fair to say your expectations were realistically high and reflected your lack of research (e.g. we have never said we have a dishwasher but you were clearly expecting one) meant you immediately started your stay with a negative perspective. There isn't much we can do much about the wind or temperature either I'm afraid, Mother Nature is a law into herself. Thankfully, the many satisfied Guests who return to our property year on year - and have left many, many positive, balanced reviews - feel our property is exactly what they expect and want for their stay. I was disappointed that certain aspects of the property were not quite to the standard I would expect and as you acknowledge, you declined my offer to rectify this. I have now appointed a new Cleaner and am confident the high standards I expect will always be met in the future.

How do damage deposits work?
