New luxury contemporary idyllic retreat, securely situated within the peaceful 5 star Altea Hills urbanisation at the base of the Sierra Bernia mountains. This bright, air-conditioned penthouse features a spacious solarium on the upper floor in addition to a large terrace with stunning sea views across the bay of Altea.
Our guests have access to a large communal pool with childrens' area and also serene landscaped gardens.
Within a 10 min drive you can discover the old town of Altea, several 'Blue Flag' beaches, Greenwich Marina with its restaurants, bars and PADI diving school and the beautiful Don Cayo golf course. For the children, many world class theme parks are also on your doorstep. This spacious penthouse has lift access and is beautifully furnished in a contemporary style. Features include a 50" wide screen satellite LCD TV and WiFi.

“"Great return visit"”
Our second family holiday to El Cielo and just like last summer we had a great time. The apartment is very modern, everything you need and the views are amazing you never tire from looking at them and the pool area is great for everyone. We had great times in the Old Town of Altea at the Marina and also visited Denia which were all great days out and knowing that in the evening we were coming back to this beautiful penthouse relaxing out at the balcony looking at the stars what a way to unwind........another fab holiday and we will definitely be back again to El Cielo. Thank you Ed

Response from the owner Hi. Thanks for taking the time to post a review and for your kind comments regarding our luxury 3 bed penthouse. We are sorry that your stay was marred by the location. This was, however, made very clear in our comprehensive paperwork along with the necessity for hiring a car. The front in Benidorm it most certainly isn't and it will always be a compromise between fantastic views or being able to walk to the local pub. We get a lot of repeat business, so it is probably more 'horses for courses' on this one. I understand that one of your party had asthma, so had we been aware of this beforehand, we would have definitely warded you away from booking in Altea Hills! The lack of towels was due to a confusion between yourselves and another party of two people.....this issue was rectified by our agents shortly after your arrival. We obviously have no say in when building work is taking place in the area (or for how long) and are never informed of such, although the majority of development has now been completed in the Altea Hills urbanisation. We will review and, if necessary, amend our paperwork to ensure that there is no confusion for guests and will re-iterate our recommendation of the requirement to hire a car.

“Beautiful Penthouse Apartment, Great Holiday”
We had a great holiday in Altea and what made it was the amazing accommodation we had the Penthouse Apartment was more than we expected. The views were beautiful the apartment was amazing spotless very modern and everything you would need. We had a 12, 16 and 17 year old with us and they all thought it was great and loved the pool and all the friendly people we met at the pool. I would highly recommend the Penthouse to anyone for a holiday the location was great for Altea, The Old Town, Calp The Marina and of course the well stocked supermarket. We will with out doubt return to The Penthouse (Jardines De Altea Hills)

“Stunning Penthouse!”
Found this on Coasta Blanca Direct web-site and it certainly met up to the luxury description! The location & views are stunning in Altea Hills, everywhere in the estate very clean. Three good sized bedrooms & all the amenities you would require. Little things like "Sky" that works to free wi-fi excellent coverage help. We took the AVE train from Valencia to Madrid, had fantastic time, but was great to come back to our Penthouse. Excellent places to visit like Denia, Altea Old Town, Alicante Castle & Benidorm 10/10 for this accommodation & location!

“an absolutely dream appartment”
The appartment is probably the best I have stayed in. I can only describe it as a show home: the decor and furnishings are beautiful. The sofas both in the appartment and on the terrace were so comfortable; something that doesn't occur very often! There were lots of 'nice' touches such as hand soap in the bathrooms; dishwasher tablets and washing machine powder in the kitchen/utility room. All my dealings with the owner Ed were simple and straightforward. His manager Barry was extremely helpful and I am sure had we had any problems, which we didn't, he would have have been on hand! Although we went to Altea at the height of the season the appartment 'complex' was extremely quiet as was the pool area. Altea Hills is in a superb area and is close to obviously Altea as well as Calpe and Benidorm. When we next visit this part of Altea which we certainly will I will definitely be asking Ed if I might borrow his appartment again! This guide suggests I should write what I liked least. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave as it was a perfect holiday.
