Description

A lovely traditional Victorian home, this property has been refurbished in a contemporary style to provide a light and spacious living space. Restoring some of the original features, whilst combining the 'old with the new' - a bespoke barrel vaulted glass roof at the back of the property provides a truly unique living experience.

Number 16 provides a lovely and unique light filled home and living accommodation comprises as follows:

On the Ground Floor - entrance hallway leading to spacious open plan layout with solid maple flooring throughout. Lounge area with sofa seating, dining area with 6 chairs and well equipped kitchen with washer/dryer,dishwasher fridge and freezer. There is a bespoke barrel vaulted glass roof over the kitchen, and beyond is a study/3rd bedroom which leads onto the small deck area.

The staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find the family bathroom with corner bath & separate shower cubicle. Master bedroom with a King size bed - 5ft width and ample wardrobe storage. This bedroom can also accommodate a cot or child's z bed. The airy guest bedroom at the back of the house can be made up with either Small Twin Beds or Double Bed (zip n link) or just one single bed (with a cot) - just let us know your requirements. To ensure a good night's sleep, both bedroom have full blackout curtains.

To the rear of the property there is a small enclosed deck area with a lawned garden beyond.

Perfect for families!

Number 16 is ideal for younger children and has easy to clean solid maple flooring throughout the open plan ground floor, so they can play while you keep an eye on them. The house has a small rear garden and is a two minute stroll from the local park. Nearby, there are riding stables, the riverside Trans-Pennine trail, plus a good selection of shops, a pharmacy and post office in the village.

We try to provide anything that may be required (within reason!) and our houses are equipped with essentials such as highchairs, sterilisers, plastic cutlery and crockery. We also provide travel cots, stair gates, baby monitors, safety plug covers, change mats and night lights... the list goes on. If you need something - just ask!
