Description
Traditionnal tower -villa located at the historical centre of Areopolis.Everything is in a walking distance (tavernas, bakery, small causy cafes,super market, grocery). Ideal for relaxation, perfectly located at the pedestrian zone. Free municipality parking at 50 m.The tower is consisted of three independent parts( houses) ,it is rent as a whole ( all three parts together) at one group each time.

Beautiful beaches, small bays or big sandy beaches all around.
Small tip: The new advert of apple IPhone 7 took place just in front the tower and around.
Tour traditionnel Giannakakou; ancienne demeure du capitaine Matapas, fameux lieutenant de tir avec plusieurs actes nationales surtout dans la Macédoine. Localisee idealement sur la place historique Taxiarxes, 17 Mars 1821, a Areopolis. Le bâtiment a ete transformé par étapes aux 17e et 18e siècles avec étendues en 1880 et changements en 1932, a trouvé son intégrité dans la période de 1995 a 1999 (par ma famille) . En juin 1998, il a été caractérisé par le ministère de la culture comme monument historique classé.Le bâtiment est constitué de trois maisons indépendantes et est loué entièrement ( toutes les trois ensemble)a un groupe chaque fois.
Idéalement situé en plein coeur d'Areopolis-Mani.Tout est accessible a pied. Restaurants, petits cafes, le four traditionelle de Milia, tout a 15 m. Demeure luxueuse, avec tout confort et décoration soignée; les meubles antiques sont bien choisi d' antiqueries de chaque coin de la Grece. Plusieurs terasses et balcons donnent une vue panoramique (mer ,montagne et centre de la ville).Grande cour enterieure avec plusieurs coins de relaxation, four traditionnel et bbq. La tour dispose piece speciale avec lave-linge, seche linge .
La demeure est entouree d'une haute muret en la transformant a une location tres calme meme isolee en plein coeur de la ville!
Constituee de trois residences independantes la villa peut idealement se servir pour des reunions familiales ou des groupes d'amis.
De la vous pouvez organiser vos excursions dans tout le Magne, (belles plages ,petites cotes,delicieuses tavernas) visiter les fameuses grottes de Diros a 15 km., la belle ville de Gythio (20 km.), Sparti et Mystras a 50 km et la region de Messinia, Kardamili, Stoupa, Kalamata a 40 km. Vous pouvez encore visiter l'unique ville byzantine de Monemvasia a 100 km. et l'ile d' Elafonissos (fameuse pour son sable blanc et ses eaux bleus ciel).
Tout le centre historique d' Areopolis (ou se trouve la tour) se transforme a zone pour pietons apres 18:00 l'apres-midi. Alors ca devient une jolie promenade dans une atmosphere fabuleuse entre toutes ces maisons traditionnelles, ces petits restaurants et ces magasins de friandises.
Le parking municipale (gratuit) se trouve a 50 m. loin.
Ideale aussi pour les vacances de Noel et de Pacques (orthodoxe), car la grande eglise de saint Taxiarxes se trouve juste devant la tour ou on fete tres traditionnel.
Dans la tour 'kapetan matapas' plusieurs personnalites ont ete acceulli comme l 'ex famille royale de Grece (famille Glixbourg), l'ex premier ministre de la Grece Tzannis Tzannetakis, le fameux directeur en scene de Grece Manousos Manousakis et plusieurs autres.
