Description
The luxurious farmhouse has a master bedroom with en-suite bath & shower room, two more large double bedrooms, (one with en-suite shower room) which can sleep up to 8 people, a large lounge with a wood burner, a range cooker with large dining area to share and prepare the all important local produce, a laundry room and additional shower room.
The interior is elegant and simple, with restored brick vaulted ceilings, traditionally Italian and with all the modern facilities you would expect. The only intrusive sounds are the cuckoos calling, yet you are only 40 minutes away from the airport town of Pescara where stylish shopping and night life are in abundance.
The estate itself is tranquil and designed to capture the Italian sun, so you may choose not to make the short drive to the beautiful unspoilt beaches, to pick up a bargain from the local markets, attend one of the numerous festas or to enjoy the wonderful Italian hospitality of food and locally produced wines!

The Casa Pietra "welcome gift" includes a bowl of seasonal fruit, and a bottle of locally produced wine to enjoy on the terrace as the sun goes down on your arrival day. You will also receive details on local information, which lets you know all the best places to eat, drink, party and shop.

In the morning, you will wake up overlooking the protected evergreen forests and step out onto your balcony for a view of the historic town of Atessa. Then you can breakfast on the terrace, selecting whichever view you like, olive groves, snow capped mountains, even one of the sea! As Casa Pietra was built in the 18th Century, the solid stone walls are several feet thick which keeps the property super cool in the summer, yet warm in the winter, all naturally.
The farmhouse has been lovingly restored, and achieves the right marriage between revealing original features, such as vaulted ceilings, bedroom balconies with ironwork, and stone archways whilst providing the most modern facilities you would expect to find.

Within the Casa Pietra estate you can enjoy the bubbling stream, the swimming pool, take a relaxing walk through the extensive grounds, or enjoy an active relaxation with the kids in the activity area which includes swings, rocking seats, monkey rings and a trapeze. At the end of the day you can enjoy al fresco dining in the purpose built barbecue area, complete with stone seat, whilst admiring the uninterrupted vistas as the Italian sun sets.

“A beautiful rustic farmhouse with fantastic views”
We stayed in this wonderful, rustic Italian farmhouse with amazing views to the valley, the sea and to the small town of Attessa. The house had plenty of room for us to spread out, and our en-suite bathroom was huge! Our host was welcoming, helpful, entertaining and an excellent cook! We arranged day trip to Rome by local coach which was an added bonus to our holiday. I would recommend this location for an authentic Italian holiday for those who would appreciate Italy without the tourists.
